Yep, same problem here. They've been having some problems recently with stuff like this so I expect it'll soon be sorted out.

It's not just TLZ, it's the server again. Maybe someone is playing games with the hoster.

I wonder what "http://likeke.xtremehosting.com/" has to do with anything. That's the name of the site that comes up in the Authorisation box despite the fact that we all are trying to get to a site with a different name.   :nono:

I was wondering why those annoying messages kept appearing out of nowhere. Thanx for clearing that up Spiff :) Btw it sucks that TLZ is down again!

[edit by marc]ugg, sorry leandro, i accidently edited instead of qouting, I will add the important things as i remember them:[...] feel free to reedit leandro[/edit]

Well, no matter. I'll just update that post: sayargh.com is working as I write this. Leela.com.ar is still
pointing to the old server, but should soon be updated. The move messed up my CGI paths, so I'll have to do some fixing there.

It would've been easier to look at the server: header  :)

server: Apache/1.3.20 Sun Cobalt (Unix) mod_ssl/2.8.4 OpenSSL/0.9.6b PHP/4.0.3pl1 mod_auth_pam_external/0.1 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 mod_perl/1.25

(Which reminds me, check the headers for slashdot.org - they have a couple of non-standard futurama-related headers  :))

Read you later.

This one is from 2000 or so if i remember correctly and still has many security problems including the file upload exploit from february. Maybe ask them to patch that and anything else (apache is quite old, too) if I'm right.

And now my reply to Marc's reply: PHP is disabled for leela.com.ar, because I don't like it. I use Perl. Other sites have it enabled, bur TLZ doesn't.

What I meant with that reply is that I really don't care if that PHP version unlinks the whole directory when you try to do a "hello world" script, since I won't be using it =)

Simple Question here: Do you have any Idea how long before TLZ is back up again?  I am througly confused by the technical garble that everyone is babbling about here.

Well, it *should* be up today or tomorrow. The data was already transferred, but the domain's not been transferred yet.

Well, can't hurt to secure the other sites and ask smoove to start patching. What I really meant is that the server looks like a standard install from 2000. There is lots of stuff to patch if they didn't ever since.

mArc, Leandro, did you guys ever get into a fight or something? This isn't the first time I've felt some half-concealed...animosity when you two speak.

Marcus.

Uhh, well, yeah, but I meant it helpingly. Why would I bother else? I have no gain from smoove getting their box secured really.

Yup, we're back there. The new server is missing all my favorite perl modules, though :'(...

server: Apache/1.3.19 (Unix)  (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_perl/1.24_01 PHP/4.0.6 FrontPage/5.0.2 mod_ssl/2.8.1 OpenSSL/0.9.6

Marc: yeah, the old server was working like (censored). That's why they moved us out... though I would've liked if they didn't. This new server screwed up all my scripts  :(

Yeah, nice new section too.

Although I dont like this design that was just put up before it went down, not that I could do better or anything. I just thought the powers that be at TLZ want opinions  :)
