With over one year in the making and even longer in the 'planning-but-no-real-progress-made' stage, I'm happy to finally announce FuturamaExpress.com:

There are still a lot of areas that need work but Phase 1 of the site is complete and gives an idea of all the site has to offer. The current focus is to be a complete resource for fans but in the future it will include some unique features as well.

Feedback is appreciated! I also need help with additional content on the site. In particular, graphics for the Inhabitants, Environment and Technology sections are needed.

I do like the site in general but...
I'm not partial to the colour scheme, font or text layout (maybe have something around the paragraphs to make them more interesting)

Other than that It's a great site, at the moment I give it 7.5/10

I agree with Bianca. I like the actual content, but you could work on the layout and maybe the fonts. They are too...general. Although the news thing on the top or whatever is cool.

Oh wait, those are screen caps that are on the beginning screen!  Awesome. 

You should also put pictures of the things your are explaining (technology, people, and places) or at least the major ones like the main characters, main technology, and main places, such as Planet Express and stuff like that.

Hi Ovi, nice to see your website up and running. I agree... you could change the Previous News section a little, something like this maybe:



Other than that, I like it... and I always like to see a new Futurama Website emerging!

It still needs some tweaking, but let me know what you guys think of the approach.

Smarty, I have tried to find specific pictures to use for those areas, but have had no luck getting good quality ones that work in the empty spots. That's a major part of what I need help finding.

JavieR, there's still a lot to do on it, but I thought I might as well release something after all this time!

Looks pretty neat.  I'm always very disagreeable to myself when it comes from layout points....

Your site feels very professional though... and at least one of the pieces of content just caught my eye in the last 5 seconds (it was the feature about fanatic futurama fans)...  Seriously awesome projects are the type of things I like reading about and looking at myself.
