No, it wasn't for a good reason. We were banned for having an opinion.

The owner of FuturamaFF clearly has a vendetta against PEEL. The thread I posted in was full of people saying nasty things about PEELers and PEEL, and none of them were banned (and of course they shouldn't have been, everybody is allowed to an opinion). But when I came in and said good things about PEEL, without saying a single bad thing FuturamaFF or insulting any of its members (I didn't even give an attitude!), I was banned almost immediately, and all my posts saying nice things about PEEL were deleted.

Unmentionable, I'm sure you love FuturamaFF and I have no problem with that. But if you think there was a good reason for why I was banned...I'd love to know. Because the only explanation I can come up with is the site owner doesn't want people saying nice things about a competing website.

It's full of nice people that have been really supportive of me. There is places to chat and stuff. I like it there.

But if you think there was a good reason for why I was banned...I'd love to know. Because the only explanation I can come up with is the site owner doesn't want people saying nice things about a competing website.

He doesn't care which site is better.

If you tried starting an argument or if a staff member tells you to stop and don't, then it would explain the ban.

Being a smart a*s is a no-no and gets an ban. Also making multiple accounts gets a ban.

I never started an argument. A staff member never asked me to stop doing anything. I wasn't a smartass. I didn't make a fake account.

So why was I banned?

No mod told me to stop anything either. I was asking for a reason for why they were on the path to ban Josh, and I got banned instead.

This was the reason given by one of your moderators, Hussypuff, who wasn't even there for the original exchange:

In contrast to here, your moderators seem to have a personal agenda and vendetta of sorts against us. Moderators should be impartial judges. Also, we didn't make "multiple fucking accounts", there were more than one of us. And now they're banning every account being made no matter who makes them, no matter what they post about.

FFF's a good forum and has some quality posting, but things like this, where moderators have clouded judgement and such a fierce vendetta that they ban anybody who registers, makes me a little understandingly apprehensive about the forum.

I don't know who you are Unmentionable, but somebody linked me to a post you made on this futuramafanforum and I thought it was pretty nice.  So I quoted you from there in our POTM competition forum.  I'm sure futuramafanforum is usually a nice place... I just don't understand what all this banning was about that I keep hearing about.

There's a difference between providing a separate point of view and starting an argument.

Considering that I posted things that I liked about PEEL, in a thread about that exact topic, and never once made an inflammatory statement about FuturamaFF or any of its members, there is no way that could be considered starting an argument.

And that's not even what I was banned for. According to my ban message, I was banned for "trolling". Trolling is insulting and attacking others to get them riled up and upset. When did I once even come CLOSE to doing anything like that?

Also, they seem to think it all a game. Here's some quotes from posts by one of your mods:
"FINALLY. Banhammer got a good workout today... :dying laughing man:"
"And majority of the people I banned were making multiple accounts."
He openly admits he doesn't know if the accounts were multiple, but just gets a kick out of using his banhammer whenever. Again, mods should be impartial.


And stop calling us "they" over there. We're more than one person with more than one personality. Saying "they" makes it seem like we all agree on everything.

I can see why you're both upset about this, JoshTheater and i_c_weiner... but really I think we should probably drop it.  I'm guessing Unmentionable didn't ban anyone, so I don't see why we should continue bothering him about it.  If all they do over there is ban people for fun, who cares?  PEEL is a really good message board by itself; we make good friends here and we're a lot like a family.  I personally care about the members on here, and I hate to see you guys get upset about getting banned from some other message board.

Someone was apparently making more than one account though. Using the numbers #41-45.

I am still great friends with the moderators there. They are excellent at what they do.

The recent 17 bans were for spam, trolling and multiple accounts.

That's a link to the post I made commending the post that you made that someone linked me to earlier Unmentionable.  We have a democratic thing called Poster of the Month every month where we get together and nominate somebody on our forum who has touched our hearts that month.  It's not nomination time yet, but we keep a thread open to post quotes in that we found enjoyable or heart warming, and I decided that yours was pretty cool.

I did feel like I should have said something because I could tell how upset people were because of all this so I wanted to settle on a common ground.

This place is better. Its more like a family here and I don't believe
PEEL would care about a members personnel life like everyone here does.

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear that over the awesomeness of me and leiapadme77 hanging out.

Also, why does everyone there type like they dropped out of high school? It's just so difficult to read.

If you were banned from this site, it was for a good reason.

The people there are indeed nice and many of them are my friends.

I was banned before I could post pretty much. And then when I really did want to see how it was, I was banned for making a thread saying I was new. I had not mentioned peel once, and I was banned. Your "friends", or at least whatever mod was on during that time, is irrational, unintelligent and  overall, a terrible mod .

You know very well that banning you is typically a sign of good judgement.

Now, "PEELER#whatever" stop misusing Unmentionable's trust on their board. I value both Kurt and Unmentionable more as  PEEL members than some of the local trollforce here. If I have to pick, I will.
