That happens if your browser uses cooked up referers. I can't see why your IE has them wrong, but maybe you have some personal firewall setting the referer field to something else.

first of all, i use opera. but i tried with ie too and it didn't work.
it was my firewall i guess. i see the pic now, and this is an error i get when accessing the cgef archive version at ... er forgot the url...

It works at www.morefuturama.com,  but not at,  www.gotfuturama.com.

try http://gotfuturama.com  (without the www) instead of morefuturama. really looks like you could use an IE update.

it doesn't work because you use IE. IE = evil. use opera instead. it will work.

When I saw the messed-up pic, I thought it had something to do with the browser cache. Very rarely, I see a site with background from another site. I have IE 5 and CGEF looks great as usual.

actually, opera did have problems with referers in the 5.12 version, so get a better one if you need to change, but usually a standard IE will do just fine. the reason this happens is that when the referer doesnt point to cgef (like with translation or cache sites, but i enabled the google ones), it will show the button instead of any picture to prevent hotlinking. with thousands of images on cgef, its just too popular for that. I did enable peel as a valid referer though for testing reasons. If the traffic doesnt go too high, you can include cgef images here.

I changed the hot link protection some after looking at the logs. Try now, it should work.
