...AKA, 'Why GeoCities sucks'!

A couple of days ago, I went to check something in my GC webspace, only to get a "This page is not accessible" error. Returning home that evening, I found a message from GC saying that my site had been suspended, pending deletion in seven days, for the odious crime of warehousing*!

What the deal was here I have no idea, as I definitely hadn't been warehousing. I fired off a few emails to GC to complain, and at the moment, ANSTATMAW seems to be back up and running again.

All this on top of GC's recent (and stupid) download limitations rather points out why it's not a very good place to host a site. Hopefully, I should soon have a new host for all my stuff and junk.

So, apologies to anyone who tried to access ANSTATMAW, PESS or the Futurama DVD review in the last couple of days. But for now, ANSTATMAW appears to be back online. For how long is another matter!

*Storing stuff on one site for it to be used as part of another. GeoCities no likee.
