TFP IS DOWN AGAIN

The host company can no longer host the killbots.com domain because of the nigerian spam sent thru the domain...

But don't worry, I'll get a host very soon... with a domain this time... just stay tuned for more info.

The Emergency website, tfp.phpnet.us is online for extra info

Wow, that was scary. Thank goodness you still had the emergency site. I came to that dull gray-on-gray page (or, grey-on-grey, the alternate spelling for those picky ones that wanna be a nag) with the big red words. Sorry to hear the site's down again. Oh, and in my thread there's a new pixel art piece. Upload if you like, seeing as you might have TFP-E a little while.

Argh, dont say that Zoidy, it may be up tomorrow for hell's worth. And yes, the gray grey bit was scary.

Nope, JavieR stated in the news he's getting a new domain name.

@JavieR: Are you really supposed to get twenty million dollars? Or is it a typo and it's really 20 thousand? You'll be a millionaire if you typed it correctly. I don't know how much your currency is worth next to the US Dollar, but I could probably find out. How they got spam through after you took the thing off there is a mystery to me, but if you know what you're doing... I suppose they could have saved the old code and used it somehow...

I didn't say I'm gonna get 20 Millons dollars (at least i don't remember), I said at TFPe that "...the domain sent again thousands of SPAM again". <-- to many "again" there  :p

How the domain was used to send SPAM again, I really don't know... I'll have to check all the site's code I guess   :hmpf:

JavieR, I know this sounds annoying but I think it was TFP that had a Nibbler card thingy... am I correct? I just wanted to know because when TFP comes back I need to find it.

I don't remember a Nibler card thingy... mmm, maybe you can be more specific, what was it? fanart, pixelart, icon?

If I can remember correct (something I don't do much) I think it was TFP with a 'Futurama Cards' or 'Collectable cards' section. It had Fry, Bender and Nibbler's character profiles in the style of a Yu-Gi-Oh card...
...? It may not have been TFP though

It was ther character bios you're thinking of, and they were on TFP. He means the pictures you clicked on to get the certain character's info to come up. I think I have some of those pics on my site....Maybe... I forget. They also had stamps, which also may be what you're thinking of...

@JavieR: well, in the letter, it said something about twenty million U.S. dollars and how these men tried to claim it for you. Very strange letter....very.

GAAH! Not the character bios!
*calms self down*
they were descriptions of characters in the form of a Yu Gi Oh card. Oh, I give up

Nope... only the Character Bios... I think I saw some of those over here at peel... but I don't remember exactly.

Oh, you mean the abuse letter [SPAM] that was sent trhu the killbots.com domain to many emails. Is the typical letter that if you believe it then they ask you many info later and they might ask you to pay something... is a ripoff.

Really... I didn't know... I wanted the slurmed.com since I had the email slurmed@yahoo.com (that I don't have any more). Besides, many of the futurama names that I tried were already registered...

Alright JavieR! You're climbin' up the corporate internet site latter! Now you don't have to worry about havin' too long a URL adress. Great name, but will it still be called TFP? I hope so.

*bump*

Well, I've added a local version of the Futurama Trailer at The Futurama Point.

You can see it at the top of each page, below the animated banner, where it says: [Watch the trailer!]

I wanna know if it looks kinda slow or not. I have increased the buffer because me and many others don't have a fast internet connection.

glad to hear that, maybe you didn't get stops because the buffer is kinda bigger than the default one.

Glad to hear the latest comments about TFP.

Right now, I dunno why the site is down. I've been pinging the website using different ping websites and some say that is ok, but others can not reach the site. I can not reach the site from over here in Quito - Ecuador.

Please let me know if you can reach  http://slurmed.com  and from what country are you surfing TFP.

Apparently the site was down for a small period of time, but is all ok now, thanks for checking it out.

BTW, I've added permalinks and links to Digg and Stumble Upon to all the news of TFP so, let me know if you have any problems using those.

Any suggestions are also welcome.

Well, I sometimes forget to check out the fanart over here... you can also create an account at deviantART.com to show your fanart... (if you don't have one already).

BTW, I've added your fanart today  :D.
