New, Handcoded, Guestbook

please, Click Here And Sign My Guestbook, That, As The Title suggests, Is Hand coded. i just coded it and i want to know what you think of the layout.

Not bad.

But you should consider finding a color more easy on the eyes.

And you should definitely change the logo to a JPG-picture instead of a BMP. Bitmaps are huge compared to JPG, think of the dialups.

Why do people use images for text?!

From a speed report:

Its really cool, but like Teral said, you need to make it a liitle bit more comfortable on the eyes!!  Its a little to bright!! Otherwise its excellent!

Which are, once again, 500kb bitmaps. They would take  more than 70 seconds to download on a perfect 56k modem connection (more like 120-130 seconds on the average 56k connection). Follow aslate's advice, use text.

Gahhhh. Red text on cyan background? No-no-no...
