Welcome to PEEL, GreyThinkyWhale! This will answer any question you may, or may not, have.

Now, onto the site:

Try to get some unique material, or a subject that hasn't been done before. For example, CGEF is the main General Futurama site, The Fry Hole is a good one about Fry, and Leela has TLZ. If you don't have unique material, people won't consider revisiting.

Also, I'm not too crazy about the layout. If you used the Freewebs builder layouts, try to convert to normal HTML and code your own layout. It can take a long time to do, but you'll find it's much more satisfying. (Also, animated backgrounds are kind of annoying and distracting.)

Um, okay Y_L_B, you obviousely have quite a professional opinion, um, I'm trying to make it about the brain spawn, and I have some songs that aren't on any other sites (I don't think). I don't intend for this to become a major super-popular site, I'm just trying to get some people to know about it. Also I don't exactly know any html, so I'm unable to make my own layout. If anyone has any content suggestions, then I would like to here them. Also I'm trying to get as much fan art as I can; seeing as how I don't have much right now so please e-mail me if you have some you would like on my site (see the link above). Or, heck, you could just post it here!

Yeah YLB, don't jump on the man's back, he's got something interesting here.  I'm not saying it's perfect though GTW (that's what I'm calling you).  It could look awesome, but I think you've got the right mindset to do the next big futurama website 

Also learn html like YLB said.  Html isn't impossible to learn, you just have to check out the internet and stick to it.  http://www.w3schools.com  is a nice place to start

Lol, I think I mighta outruled using html for the layout early on when I first joined freewebs. I can try learning html, but I'm not making any promises.

HTML is useful
Don't use absoloutely everything that you see on the pagebuilder. Moving backgrounds are annoying, same goes for multiple polls etc.

I'm trying to make a site with my own layout now; since I can't edit the original site (early on on freewebs, you choose to be an advanced user(when you make your pages with html) or a beginner user (make your pages with pagebuilder) and I picked beginner and I can't change it) I got a new one... go to  www.freewebs.com/brainspawn and tell me what you think, I guess...  but don't mention the lack of content, I havn't got around to that...

Nice and simple, but I don't really like the framegrab cut-outs. They make the site look sloppy and unprofessional. Try to get somebody to make you some scans, or make some yourself. Here's a tutorial to help you.

You also might want to go with a less abrasive text colour than red.

If you'd rather just leave it, go ahead.

I spontaniously murdered some livestock when i saw that first page. You need a warning before that page that anyone with a bull within viewing distance of the screen will most likely get horribly trampled from above, somehow.

A) New Banner/Logo, seriously. If it can't be done, at least save it as a .gif in a compentent program, jpegs are the tool of the devil.
I might make you a better one, If you're nice and specific about what you want.
B) Smaller, cleaner link pictures.
C) Consider putting something other than links on the main page, news/updates, perhaps.
D) I can't help but notice that Fry is in every picture, yet the name of the site is "Brain spawn".
E) Scrap the fanart page, unless it's for your own stuff. No fanart page will ever achieve what has already been done by other sites. Maybe a personal favourite page could work though, i'd still reccommend against it though.
F) Scrap the legal disclaimer, there's no point having it. If you're really worried, link to a disclaimer, or something.
G)Hehe, in Firefox, when the tab is shortened, it says "http://www.free...pawn/home.htm"
...Well, I thought it was funny. 

Otherwise, it's simple, so it's got something going for it. Needs work, but at least it's viewable, unlike 3/4 of the other fan pages around.

I couldn't help but start laughing when I read Rage Dump's first paragraph, lol, um I dont have much to say about your point A,B,C,E,F and G, but I'm planning on making a section of the site devoted to the brain spawn instead of that one sentence I wrote...

Also, I'm not exactly a scan artist, but I can try later on, although if someone, is good at that then I would be happy for someone to make a banner or something for me, although I'm not sure what I want. Oh, and about the colours; thats my favourite colour combo, so I can't see myself changing that too much...

I think textspeak is prevolent everywhere, not just here in the UK, but we like having posts that can be read without having to be run through a decrypter. It's got a use on a mobile phone, but not on the internet.

On your site:
You've managed to get extreme punctuation, loads of polls and a general "i'm a fansite with a pagebuilder" look. Lets just say that CGEF isn't quivering from the competition.

I havn't been editing my site lately, but awhile back, though I havn't mentioned it, I created a brain spawn section and used CFG's scanart. Also I might change the homepage soon, I'm not sure...

I've been working on my message board alot instead (which by the way, could use some more members...).
