I am wondering if anyone knows off futurama plush toys, a friend of mine has just had her first baby and would love on. I have searched the net to no avail but i could swear i have at least seen nibbler. If anyone has any info please get back to me, espeacially if you know of a cuddly Zoidberg.

Ya know, I was just wondering about plush toys today too. I wanna see a Nibbler toy. Sadly, I haven't heard anything about them yet.

How do you make a FAKE plush? Is it poorly made? Will the seams rip or will it explode in a small collision like a Pinto?

Poorly made, proportions were off, but it somehow looked kinda clool because of it...

Yea, I remember that pic. It looked pretty good all things considered but there is a possibility of a 'real' one being made. Check it out on my Part 2 report at ABPoG.
Perhaps we can use this thread to say if you want one and include your email address and where in the world you are. That way when I get my notification I can direct him to this thread for more email addresses to add to his list. Does that sound like a plan?

I'm in the UK and depending on reasonable p&p rates I'd be very interested in a plush doll. There's a good chance I'll be in MO next April, so might be interested even if rates to the UK were very high, could have it mailed to my friend and pick it up when I'm there.

gavin@kazzahdrane.co.uk

Really enjoyed your report on this year's Con, Bendo. While the ONLY comics I read are Futurama comics, I still found pretty much the whole thing interesting, just wish I was even bordering on close to San Diego! Completely agree about wanting new posters and things, while the giclees are too expensive for a student like me, the two non-FOX posters that have been made are displayed proudly on my bedroom wall. A Roswell That Ends Well poster would be great!

I would so buy a stuffed Zoidy...
Sad, considering how extraordinary it would be if they even made plushies of the MAIN characters.. I'd still be waiting for a certain one-shot lady..

I'd be interested in a stuffed Bender.  A stuffed Zoidberg would be cool, but that'll never happen.

Bendo, I read your Comic Con report.  Billy West wouldn't sign anything unless you bought one of his crappy CDs?  What a dick.

You can imagine that I will wait for a certain one-eye lady ... Then again, I would absolutely prefer the real lady to a plush-cyclops ...

While we are talking about totally hugable Futurama-related plush:
In 2001 I've made two Leela-silk-pillows in silk-art-lessons  :)

If there is a CGEF'r around could you do a news item about this? It might help to generate some traffic to this thread as I think alot of people are skipping over it without realizing what we are talking about.
On another note, does this mean I can put down EvilLunch, bankrupt and TheLesbianLeela on the interest list?

Thanks bankrupt! Remember for those who are looking forward to getting a Zoidberg, it will never be produced if a Bender (probably the most popular character from the show) does not sell well or if there is not enough interest to get the Bender one done in the first place.
Going on to other ideas, how about a plush Gunther? Asterisk? Hypno-Toad anyone? Tinny Tim? Anyone?

I missed this thread. I'm not sure why this hasn't been added to CGEF. Have you emailed Jon or Marc or anyone?

At any rate, put me on the "interested" list: tvsjeff@adelphia.net

Great Report Bendo   :)  That sucks that Billy West was in a bad mood.  We saw him at a Comic Book the Movie signing and he was really cool!  He even signed my Bender costume and took pictures with us for nothing.  Maybe he was just having a bad day this time   :(

I was really hoping to see John Dimaggio this year, but we never found him.  Bummer...

But I still want a plush Bender!

Kimncris, I don't think it was a matter of Billy being in a bad mood I think his main focus was just on his new CD. I have met him before at Futurama related functions and he has been very nice at those times. It was just upsetting to see his booth so prominently displaying his work on Futurama and yet he would not sign anything related to it unless you purchased his CD.
I will see about emailing Jon or Marc regarding the plush Bender. I thought they were regulars around here and would have picked up the story that way.

You could also e-mail DXC with all the e-mails here.  If you do you should of course mention how unclear the list was at the actual convention, since I'm sure that would make a difference.

In any case:

Underdunkt@aol.com
And I live in the U.S. (specifically Colorado, where the dvds seem to be fairly popular).

I'd love a Bender doll.  I've been looking for some good Futurama stuff besides the dvds.  And if DXC reads this, we want t-shirts too!    :p

Edit: And a pinball game!  A pinball game!

A Bender plushie?  Damn that would be sooo cool.  If it turns out to be half decently priced I'm definately in.  (Unfortunately there isn't enough money around to buy all the stuff on my Futurama wish list   :( I'm in Canada and my email addy is locutus1979@hotmail.com

Incidently I did see a Nibbler vinyl figure on Ebay.  Looked kinda cute but I wasn't about to pay *that* much for it.  I think they wanted like $50 US for it plus S&H or something.

Some non-official plushies are 'available' of sorts.  I'm actually in the process of crocheting up several characters from the show and would be selling some of them (when I actually get them made and get a crochet pattern established)  Here's the link to a finished Zoidy plushie I made with pics for those who may have missed that thread: http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/Futurama/15-000601-1/
I'm sorta taking orders but not really.  Basically, I just wanted to get a feel for things and see who and how many people would be interested.  Then I can get them done in my spare time and then maybe sell the ones I've got finished on Ebay or something.  If anyone's got any question's feel free to fire me off an email.
