Actually, the lead alien from Roswell, Little Green Men is named Biff, I believe. And I'm more interested in appearances by Life in Hell, The Critic, Family Guy, Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, Roger Rabbit, etc. characters.

No wonder it's taking so long, apart from the drawing side, there's the copyright...

How can they cram all these characters in a few comics? Its like trying to cram five fat men into a telephone pole! Is this going to be a trilogy, or a four-parter, or a five- parter, etc.?

I'm sure us asking all these questions is more likely to drive him away, than make him stay. Probably isn't allowed to say too much about it, but I do wonder about this Crossover, if The Simpsons somehow get into New New York or something? Possibly from a "What If" question or something, I thnk that'd be pretty clool. Although I'm probabaly way off...

I stand by the every character ever statement until I see James' art. And if he hasn't drawn every character ever I'll be very dissapointed.
The second crossover takes place right after the last 2 page spread of the first crossover with a little backstory explaining how all the Simpsons characters made it into the Futurama world.
And like the last one, this is a two parter. A very very full two parter.

I meant to say that! No, really! You: Originally posted by Ian Boothby: And like the last one, this is a two parter. A very very full two parter. What? Did I misunderstand? Isn't this one a three-parter?

Check out Forbidden Planet International. The decription of the first part of the second crossover is now up: SIMPSONS/FUTURAMA CROSSOVER CRISIS PART II #1 (of 2) by Boothby & Lloyd The long-awaited sequel to the Futurama/Simpsons Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis is here at last! With the brittle fabric between reality and fiction stretched beyond its limits, the entire citizenry of Springfield finds itself trapped in New New York a thousand years in the future. Once there, the advanced 30th century populace, which has overcome war, famine, and cured the common cold, does what any technologically and morally evolved culture would do... they turn the citizens of Springfield, including The Simpsons, into slaves! 32pgs, FC $2.99 Roll on January!

Thanx for the descripion, sounds awesome to the max! It would be ironic if the robots (who many of are slaves doing crappy jobs) made The Simpsons do all their dirty work...

This might not have anything to do with the second crossover but I got 'Simpsons Comics #99' today in the UK. In the story Marge begins her own catering company. On page 25 a large party is going on and Bender can be seen milling in with the Springfield crowd. As I say this may only be a gag on behalf of the Simpsons Comics writers but you never know. I should have a cover picture for crossover #2 by saturday.

I know Futurama references have cropped up in The Simpsons Comics in the past, just as they have in a few episodes. It could be a reference to something in the Crossovers possibly I guess. That's clool you should have a picture for crossover #2 by Saturday, but how come the picture for #2 is around before #1?...

But they weren't fat! Think Konishki. Originally posted by SlackJawedMoron: I think that that's a pretty clear indication that this is a two parter. And to defend my honor on this very old post, I meant "Wasn't the last multi-issue story a three-parter?" instead of the gibberish that I spoke.

The crossovers are a real pain to find and buy online, they should release a futurama/simpsons trade paperback with all 4 parts in next year.
