I know it is a little early, but here is the summary on 18.

#18: After defending their recently uninhabited world from alien invaders, Fry, Leela, and Bender set out to discover the whereabouts of their missing colleagues as well as billions of citizens from Planet Earth. But "where are they?" soon turns into "when are they?" and "how" and "why" also make a little appearance in Part 2 of "Time Bender Trilogy."

Yes it is. I am almost 100% sure. It is either that or Radioactive Man.

You can get the Hell comics in TPB type things, Work is Hell, Love is Hell, stuff like that. Should be able to find them on Amazon easily enough, got my dad one a few years ago.

Fingers Crossed yes, as it does say in the issue a picture of the next comic (#18) and says coming this July. #19 is due September and #20 - 23 are expected next year now, possible sometime between January - November 2005. Also I heard, rumors but I'm sure they are true, that there will be a follow up to the Futurama/ Simpsons Crossover issues, they are due to bring out a new issue of them January - March of next year!

I can't beileve no one posted it sooner! I just got issue 17, finally and found this in it. I scanned it kind of crooked. I hope this isn't the cover. I don't like it as much. What do you think? Like it? Don't like it?

Looks a bit unfinished, there's no tagline at the top and the bottom looks a bit bare.

It's pretty shitty, but it won't be the final cover, I'm almost certain. They did a promo pic like this for another Futurama Comic, I think it was #15. The final cover for that turned out much better. Don't forget how everyone got so worked up about the 2005 Calendar cover (including me...), which thankfully turned out not to be the final design...

Post to anyone currently Living in the U.K and is trying to obtain the US versions the the Futurama Comics/Graphic Novels. There are two Websites I recomend. I found both of these sites after thumbing through about 15 pages of a 'Futurama Comics To Buy' Google search

  • www.megacitycomics.co.uk  - they do lots of US imported comics, including Futurama, Simpsons, Mad etc. The prices are reasonable and delivary is £5.95 and says it takes 7-14 days ( i recived both my orders in about 3 days) Reliable, Safe Cheap, Well Deliverd, Friendly; I recomended. But they don't have every back issue (i.e. Issues #3 #4 and the Futurama Simpsons Crossover #1 and #2)

  • www.comix-shop.co.uk  - i have only just placed an order with them today, they seem to do lots of back issues (I used them to get Issues #3 #4 and the F/S Crossovers #1 and #2) They also have a wide selectiomn of comics, but the prices are high, and i only recomend useing if you can't find what you want anywere else (my order cost £21, not including shiping) There are many choces for shiping, for the UK and other contrys, i chose the cheapest one, £3.95 (10-14 days)

anyone recomend any other sites, did this post help you (in anyway)? I'm still searching for Bongos 'Life in Hell' Comics, if I find them I'll let you know   ;)

I ordered the upcoming trade paperback Futurama comic "Futurama adventures" from Amazon a few weeks ago, and I just recieved this email...

Dear Customer,

We are sorry to report that the release of the following item has been
cancelled:

  Matt Groening "Futurama Adventures"

This item has now been cancelled from your order and we can confirm that
you have not been charged for it.

Please accept our apologies for any disappointment or inconvenience
caused.

I don't know if this means the whole thing has been scrapped or if Amazon just aren't stocking it? I hope not, because I've seen the cover art and it looks cool. Anybody know anything about this?

PS: the good news is that the 2005 calender (which I also ordered) is still scheduled for release on Amazon.

When i tried to order Futurama-O-Rama (which had already been released), from Amazon i recived a similar E-Mail after about 2 weeks of placing my order. It probably just means Amazon arn't stocking it (or have screwed up)

They had better not have cancelled Futurama Adventures, it's the only way I'll get to read the comics as I don't buy each issue because I like the more durable TPBs.

Hopefully Bendo is reading this and will have some info for us!

Check my post under the Futurama Adventures Cancelled? thread on why orders were cancelled. It's not as bad as it sounds, honest.
The cover shown here for Futurama Comics 18 will be the final cover for this issue. I don't know. I kind of like it. It is always fun to see Leela kicking butt (and hey, she is even showing a little mid-riff so how can you complain?), however I do prefer covers that feature the gang over individual characters. Plus, who knows, maybe this is an all Leela issue.   :)

It looks like it could very well be the final cover, but they will most definately put a line at the top with a comment. Like in issue #17 it said: 4 out of 5 aliens recomend.

Got the final version of the cover up at my site which can be seen here:
 http://members.cox.net/futurama/Bongo05.html#Comics18
Not that it is going to matter much to the folks around here but I still like it. It is fun, in character and probably a prelude to what is actually inside.
Only one more month to go!  :)

Everyone's already talking about issue #18.  I haven't even got issue #17 yet!  For some reason the comics have stopped coming here to South Carolina!  My second cousin who lives in southern Florida who likes the Futurama comics is having the same problem!

Where can I find issue #17!  I'm at my wits end!
I've tried every comic book store in my neighborhood!

I got my issue #17 at Borders two weeks ago, check again, or order it online.

The issue #18 cover lookes fine, it has Leela's mid-riff exposed, and she is kicking ass, so its okay with me!
