futurama dvd sales

i was wondering if the dvd sales for futurama did better than family guy, since family guy is making a comeback, if futurama has better dvd sales then that will be making a comeback, just wondering

Are wondering if Futurama has higher DVD sales than Family Guy (As far as I know, no, Family Guy is the best selling TV show at the moment), or if higher DVD sales would cause a comeback (depends, Fox hates Futurama and it costs more than FG does to make, due to 3D).

Really? I didnt think that it would sell that much to get on the charts...

I think it may be due to advertising. I've seen alot of commericials advertising it. MUCH more than the previous 2 seasons.

I only hope Season 4 will do even better...

That just mean it's #7 on Play.com's list, not overall. I think it's something like mid-50's on Amazon.com. The big question is how well does it sell overall? Regular stores (where the majority of CD/DVD sales still is) included.

in the uk, futurama is very popular, they have this good deal with buy one get one free dvd box set for futurama

i used this and got all the box sets of futurama

There has been a report of Futurama coming back. Personally I blame The Simpsons for it not being back sooner as FOX are concentrating on that. I wish The Simpsons would die now, it's not even funny anymore.

If it does come back it is unlikely to be on Cartoon network because of the lack of funding it would recieve! Plus I think the Simpsons died around Season 13! Should have realised it would be unlucky! Having said that I did like the Episode with Tony Hawk and Blink 182 in mostly for their appearances! Sorry but I'm not very good with the names of The Simpsons episodes!
