There's at least two more issues after it, which means the comic's outliving the show by at least a year.

Bongo says, the comic will last way longer than just a year.  I hope they go up to triple digits.

If the comic continues for a few years it will quickly be known as a comic that had a TV spin off at one point :P

Right now the series is planned through at least the end of 2005. This will take it through issue 23 as well as the second Simpsons Futurama Crossover happening the beginning of next year.
Since I know the question will come up shortly in this thread the next TPB will be called Futurama Adventures, will contain issues 5-9 of the comics and will come out sometime in July.

Good. It'll replace the pain of having to wait for season 3 for so long.

The story for issue 17 sounds really good.  Since it picks up on the end of 16, I'd better get to reading it!

Your best bet is probably to just search comic book stores and ebay & other places online that sell comics.  You might have a hard time finding the earlier issues though.

Not neccessarily. I got issues 1-7 and 9 from ebay all in one comic book lot. In my opinion, ebay is your best bet.

Crapidelphia, I still haven't got 15 or 16. I should get on it.

I've had incredible luck with the comic book store... I found #2 around the time #10 was released there, so it was nice to have two comics to read instead of the presumed one. Thank you, Boulder Time Warp Comics, for making my day that much better!

Why won't issue #17 be out until May?  I guess I'll just order some back issues at my local comic book store.  What's with the delay?

The delays because the comic is turning from bimonthly to quarterly.

I wonder what's causing the delays, it's suppose to be published six times a year.

Anyway, I hope we see an issue devoted solely to Zoidberg soon!

Forgive my ignorance, but are they still making new Futurama comics? And if so, how often do they come out and when is #18 due? If someone could answer this for me, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you

Yeah they're still making them, they come out every 3 months(ish). Not totally sure when #18 is due, because there might be delays. As for #17, it should be out around late May/early June...

Man... i loved #16, but i've got about 5 issues that i need to get. the first time i found out about Futurama comics was with issue #14. The next one i got was #15... that's when i relized that i needed to track em all down.

So far, i've gotten #'s: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, and 16... oh and FUTURAMA-O-RAMA (as a gift). i got 1, 5 and 6 from a video/comic book store; 2, 4, 8, 9, and 10 i got from a REALLY nice comic book store that ordered them for me; and of course i got the latest 3 new from Borders. as for the remaining 5 i still need, the "comic book lady" is ordering them for me aaaaaaaallll the way from California.

oh, also I got #16 at some little Walgreens-ish store. it was really wierd, becasue they only had a few titles, the Simpsons, and Futurama. now i dont have to drive 30 minutes to the borders.
