Probably between season 3 and 4, they have easter eggs, extras, lots of stuff...  Although I do enjoy one deleted scene immensely from Love's Labour's Lost in Space on the season 1 set....

I only have seasons 1 and 2, and out of those, I can't really decide. I like the featurette (or part of a featurette) on season 1, especially the excerpts that you can play through the still-art gallery. But the easter eggs in season 2 are probably a bit better than those in season 1, and those aren't even that great.
I have a question about the easter eggs on both seasons 3 and 4. I know that there are table reads (one for "A Tale of Two Santas" in season 3, and one for "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" in season 4) in volumes 3 and 4. I know that they are audio only, but do you just hear the read accompanied by a black screen, or are still frames of the actual episodes shown to accompany the readings?
I hope that question makes sense, but it probably doesn't.

Season 1.  By including the script, storyboard and animatic for the same episode (in this case, the pilot), you're able to see how the episode develops through all the stages.

Also the picture gallery on Disc 3 has all the conceptual drawings for the main characters, while galleries on later discs were mainly guest characters and one-offs.

And I know this will cause your heads to spin, but I prefer the S1 menus to most of the later ones.  No disrespect to the people involved, but animated menus piss me off, because they get monotonous very quickly.

I agree with Fred, especially about the animated menus. Sure they are nice the first time, but after that they are plain annoying. Especially the Simpsons second season... but lets not talk about that.

Gorky, the two audio reads are accompanied by one frame from the episode to look at  :)

And I voted for Season 4, the sadness and love for the show really comes through in the commentaries.

Season One, because of the really cloolsome concept artwork that never made it into the show. All those alternative designs for characters, and buildings. It also had a short documentary about Futurama with Matt Groening. However, it had the worst menus, I still like them though, but other sets are better in that department.

I also have another question. My favorite season was the third, and I was wondering if the audio commentaries are any good for:

Parasites Lost
Time Keeps on Slippin'
Roswell that Ends Well

I don't want any details, just a yes or a no. I'll watch 'em anyway, I was just wondering.

To be honest, in the four seasons there are very few commentaries that aren't really good, and those three aren't in that small group. They're great!
