I would love to design a Matt Groening trivial pursuit game.  The topics would remain the same like politics... question example, "What party did the Planet Express Crew decide to join after the Brains stupified everyone on Earth?"  I think the idea rocks.  I would love to do it but I know the legal issues that would have to be overcome.  I believe he would be interested in the extra income though.  It would be the Trivial Pursuit people that would take convincing.  What does everyone else here think?  Good idea?  :D

I'd buy it, but then again, I'd buy pretty much any game based on Futurama*  :)

*Apart from games only availible on PS2 and Xbox

I'm kinda old school... Atari and NES stuff like that.  I was perfectly fine with Sega Genesis.  Oh well... I guess progress is ok... thanks for the input.  TTFN

Very nice idea indeed, I'd buy it for sure (although I didn't get the Futurama game either, being a loyal GC owner).

I was jst talking about this yesterday.  I'd beat all my friends at it, but there's people here that would kick my ass.  But legally, I don't think the Trivial Pursuit people have too much objection to licensing out the name.  Isn't there a Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit out now?  Simpsons Trivial Pursuit is far more likely that Futurama Trivial Pursuit, but if that happened, it would certainly open the door.

The LOTR T.P. is out already.  I was just thinking that you would have alot more subject matter to draw from if you got both Simpsons and Futurama on the game.  Also any other thing Groening did.  He has done many things.  Comic books and series.  I just can't think of them right now.  He is a legend in American pop culture.  He deserves on just as much as LOTR does.  I don't think that version even has things from the books... I think it's entirely from the movies.  Anyway... TTFN.

I'd play with you.  However you live in Sweden.  I'd send you my love as I work on the game.  I will try and do some work on it.  I will try and find a way of getting hold of Lord Groening and see if he's down with the idea.  Then I shall begin my work.  The holy Futurama effort.  The Futurama Jihad if you will.  TTFN all... yes that is what jihad actually means... not really holy war.  *fun facts*

Shame on you! Buy it and say you played it!

Fry: Just throw it in the sewer and say you played it!

Bender: Nah, too much work. Just burn it and say you threw it in the sewer!

By the way, I'd buy Futurama Trivial Pursuit.

I'd not only buy it, I'd buy 3 copies. I'd use one, keep one in Mint Condition so I can marvel at it's glory all day long, and hide one in my crawlspace in case there was a tornado or other natrual disaster. I'd have it buried with me, along with the rest of my huge collection of Futurama toys, coasters, magnets, and DVD's. And I'd have to mold plastic figures of the characters to use as pieces... Oh, yes. My life would be COMPLETE!

P.S. @ Xmpel and Kazzahdrane: I'd play the game with you guys!   :)

As much fun as it would be, I doubt playing a board game over a forum would really work :P

But thanks for the offer guys.

Someone should make a website of created Futurama board games.  I'd be on the computer even more!  Also, if someone actually made the game, I'd play it.  Also, I got the video game the 1st day it came out.  Went to 3 different GameStops to find it.
