I'm getting a new computer with a DVD drive, so I will finally be getting the Futurama DVDs. I don't want to get ripped off, so I thought I'd ask, what should I expect to pay for each of the box sets? I live in Australia, and I'd consider buying online if there was a significant price difference, but would prefer to buy offline.
If people could let me know what they paid, and what the acceptable price range is, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!   :)

Well your an aussie so i can help you out. The cheapest place i have seen so far is JB Hi-fi. I got mine for $59.95 each. Be quick though because it is a sale so they may not be this cheap for a while.

I saw Season 2 at Big W for $48.95 once, but it was only on a one-day sale. Still, I bought my Season 1 DVD from Harvey Norman for $79.95 - and I saw Season 2 there for $89.95 (it cost more because it had more episodes), so I'd say anything under $100 is reasonable, although I've heard that JB Hi-fi is one of the more cheaper places.

Ordering from Amazon.co.uk (if you're willing to wait) is an option too, since the region 2 DVD's play on region 2 as well.

The season 4 set cost 29.78£, about 71 AUS$ I think.

Since you live outside the European Union, you don't have to pay VAT, which get you another 5-6 pounds discount.

Though there's the matter of shipping, but from what I've gathered the saved VAT should cover the shipping charges.

Try asking Ben, he has ordered from Amazon.co.uk.

If that sale's still on then I think that's where I'll go. Were each of the seasons the same price?
