Picked this up this afternoon. Looks pretty cool so far. Haven't had a chance to read it yet though so no review or thoughts on it yet. First impression though is it looks fun and the art looks pretty good.
Scan of the front cover can be found at my site here:

Anyone want to give the first review or will I have to double post?  ;)

I'm affraid I can't review it yet as I live in the UK. But wow that front cover looks intreging. I kinda thought it'd just be the preview add from the back of Comic #14 as the cover, but this is even better   :)

Looks like you won't have to double post now after all   ;)

Yea, I thought the same thing as you Otis. Nice to see them mix things up a bit.
OK, onto the comic itself. Story was different than what I thought it was going to be. Art was pretty good but had spots where it looked off or rushed. The story itself was decent enough and was glad to see Eric Rodgers contribute a story again after doing so many in the beginning of the run.
So, rush out and by it already! And don't forget to email Bongo. This issue saw the return of the letters page but only at one page. Let's see if we can get a second page in issue 16. Oh, and there is a nice recap with some fun pictures from Bongo's time at SDCC.

Is there, by any chance, some art from someone named "leelaholic"?

I believe there was only 1 fan art this time around and not from a 'Leelaholic'. I will have to double check but along with the price increase did it seem like there were more pages this time around?

There has been talk recently of the book going quarterly (or at least that is what is mentioned in the front cover of the latest issue) and that being the reason why no word on the next issue. If so boo to Bongo Comics for doing that. I think if that is the case it is petition and letter writing time again. I intend to write to them and let them know of my disatisfaction with this direction of the title and I encourage everyone here to do the same. This is definitely something that we the fans can have a more direct control over unlike the situation with Fox where they didn't have the same vested interest in the property like Bongo Comics.
So write away everyone for a better tomorrow!!

I hope that they at least stay bi-monthly, I'm buying 5 books at a time, so maybe that little bit'll help.

As for the story and art, I enjoyed both a lot.  There were some strange moments in there, and then there were times that captured the characters perfectly.  I'll wait until more people get it before I post a detailed review, but, I can say that I really enjoyed it, better than the last issue in my opinion.

There was something strange about that issue, I'll say in Spoiler!

Per the previous issue and this one it appears that Futurama Comics may be going towards quarterly publication rather than their standard bi monthly. That is the reason that there was probably no mention of the next issue. I have not gotten any confirmation on this but I am working on it.

Well, it was pretty good. Felt short, though. Not too much story in it, it felt. There were hints of shippiness, I can say that's a good thing. It wasn't that funny, but it was artisiticly well put together.  Though it bugs me how the artists sometimes draw them. they make them look very odd...well, you can't be perfect. Fry looked very awesome in his suit.  :D. I want to scan that!  :)

Pretty average I thought, the art was pretty good tho. Another to add to the collection

I wonder when they are gonna do that time travel 2 parter they were talking about awhile back

Grim, that is actually going to be a 4-parter not a 2 parter. If the title is going to go quarterly this could be agaonizing as it will take a whole year for the story to play out. I might be able to stomach it if it means an increase in page count otherwise I might have to take a hostage.  ;)

That sounds cloolsome!  It's just a pity that now it looks like issue #15 is the last one of this year

I liked this issue and thought it was nice set-up... Nothing overly funny, but a well put together issue  :D

Contains spoilers, do not read if  you've already decided to buy the comic.

The drawings in this number is top-class for a comic book. Although John Delaney (the artist) seems to be better of drawing his own characters as the Futurama ones seems a little of at times (See: Fry, page 2, panel 2).

The plot is as usually flawed as on page 10 the best thing to do would have been having Leela gaged so I wouldn't have figured out the ending. If Space Boy would have existed back in our century it would most likely had been turned in to a movie or tv-series already. Otherwise it has a good flow and I only put it down once, so I could have a snack.

The best thing in this issue would have to be the drawings and some of the suttle jokes such as "Inkers like it Bolde", the use of Sal, The fact that models are now frequenting comic shops, "Captain Democratic order of planets".

All in all it's a good comic. Nice plot, the characters are not out of limits and some nice jokes about "The biz".

5//5 Comic book stars.

Well, I finally got it. This issue was really clool, and entertaining. Nice storyline, and interesting new characters. I loved how Dr Zoidberh tied into the plot so importantly, even though the reader doesn't realise it till near the end. I felt the mutant scene was particuarly effective, the colour and tone of it. The only problem I had was that in some of the panels, Fry was drawn terribly! It was crap! But some of the artwork was really top-notch, so maybe the artist just coudn't get the hang of Fry?

Anyway, another very cloolsome comic on the whole

Yeah, but still, it created probably the best page in the comic...

The best thing about this issue is probably the cover. Overall the actual comic isn't too bad, but it doesn't blow you away either. It has the same affect as issue 10. There are some good one liners but the story feels tired and uninspired. It's not clever or unique enough for Futurama.
My ongoing grudge with artist John Delaney shows no sign of stopping. When will he learn to draw Fry!!!!? To be fair, this is probably his best effort so far. In some of the panels Fry is drawn very well, but then you turn the page to be shocked by Johns pure lazyness/lack of skill!
I know I sound very negative, but I did enjoy this issue really. It's just very forgetable and if the comics are only going to be released 4 times a year, if all the issues continue this bland trend is it worth the wait?

Overall: 3/5 ***
