So far this set is the best yet. I'm currently on the commentary for "That's Lobstertainment!".

If you go to the menu for "Amazon Women in the Mood", you can eventually find captions that were never used by press left on your DVD remote.
"A Tale of Two Santas" has another easter egg if you go to the menu and press the right arrow on your remote.
I'm not completely through all of the discs yet (I'm on the commentary for "Insane in the Mainframe" ) seeing as how I watch them in order, and that's all I've found so far.

I love this Season the best! It has most of my favorite episodes. Every episode has no problems whatsoever with great humor and quality in all. The DVD is great too. I've noticed some interlacing issues, but not as bad as IGN put it out to be. The extras are by far my favorite of the 3 (soon to be 4) box sets, the commentaries are halarious (A Pharoah To Remember's commentary was especially great with Billy West and John Dimmagio acting like their characters.). A wonderful batch of deleted scenes too. For some reason, I prefer the alternate ending to Insane In The Mainframe to the one they used in the show. I would've kept the scenes for Parasites Lost and Time Keeps On Slippin' scenes too (Except the one in TKOS where Bender makes a comment on Leela being pregnant.), but once again, time constraints kept them from airing. I highly reccommend this DVD set for the people who don't have it yet.

Yep, and you should have some money left over, seeing as how I got my DVD from Best Buy for only $30.00.
For those who care, I'm on the commentary for "A Leela of Her Own".

Dammit, in the inlet thing it says that you spell Snoo-snoo as "Snu-snu." Dammit! I did research about that when I made my name too, and every site I saw spelled it as "snoo-snoo." So now I have to live my life knowing that I have a horribly mispelled username. Oh the shame!

Btw, you guys are so lucky to have a best buy. I only have one Borders, and I had to pay $49.99 for mine.

That's too bad, Snoo-Snoo. Why not order it online? I ordered through BestBuy.com and got my set for $32 after tax. Hate to see someone pay more than necessary for this great set.

I know this has probably been said a million times, but I can't help but comment on how surprised I was to hear David X. Cohen talk about the "Can't Get Enough Amy" website.

Even though that's not my website, I somehow feel strangely proud that they even acknowledged small fan based sites. Somebody else on the commentaries said they never went there, that they've only been to the Fry one. I wonder which one he meant?

Anyway, the commentaries are a lot better this time. This is the best set so far, by far. Although I was a little dissapointed to see that Katey Segal and Lauren Tom aren't doing the commentaries.

Hey snoo-snoo, it's probably an old dead one... like Fry-Online or the Fry-Files, since this commentary was made in like 2002.  Also I noticed to get the Easter Eggs on my version was a tiny bit different from how I've seen it on the internet.  It's still there in Amazon Women in the Mood and A Tale of Two Santas, but you have to press right from the play episode area instead of left.  Also to get the David Cohen holiday greeting I had to click on the first egg in A Tale of Two Santas before I could press up to get the hat (you can click on the table read and then menu back out).  Anyways it's a great set, and everyone should get it.

If you haven't gotten it however, you might try going here to  SSF to try and win a copy...

Does anyone know when we'll get sales numbers? I went to walmart earlier today, and they were sold out of season 3. That's a good sign, right?

Amazon was backordered for a while I think.  I still dont understand how Family Guy can have better sales than Futurama when it had only 2 sets & Futurama had 4.

They're probably talking about sales in the US.  At the time that was talked about it was 2 sets vs. 2 sets.  Also it could be that Family Guy is mostly crap.  And idiots like crap.  And most of the tv audience out there is made up of idiots, it's a widely known fact, except to the idiots so I guess it isn't that widely known.....  :nono:

Yeah,  there is a number of reasons why Family guy is doing better. I didn't think Futurama was selling so well, as I've seen shelves in stores stocked near-full... but then again, they may have just had a lot to begin with.  It's nice to see that is is actually doing well.

My thoughts exactly. What confirms their idiot status is that every reason I've heard for not liking Futurama has been completely idiotic. Like, "It has aliens and stuff so it's too crazy." and "It seems like they're  trying to hard to make us laugh so it's not funny."

Also note that in the original responses, these ppl used horrific grammer and spelling thus reconfirming that confirmation of their idiot status.

I did a search, but it seems no one has posted a translation for the AL1 that comes up when you start "Amazon Women in the Mood."  This is what it says:

This program has been modified from its original version.  It has been formatted to fit your pathetic 21st century human-made non-interactive television that only broadcasts in two senses and doesn't even look back at you except in Utah.

Hey Winna I went to that SSF website and I noticed a pretty bad mistake. The quote that appeared on the top of the page said, "We learned a lion to eat tofu."

It's suppossed to be "We taught a lion to eat tofu."

OMG, that is awful grammar. I hope that whoever wrote that is either from another country or in the 2nd grade. Either way,I just wanted to let you know about it. I hope somebody fixes it.

Yeah so I'm asuming that each dvd set has each of the five seasons? Because will the fifth dvd have season five? I hope not beacause I really want the Sting episode to watch all the time! I love that episode!

Anyway, wow, Pharaoh to Remember is so much more enjoyable with the commentary ON.  It's great when Billy West goes into character.

Well, it didn't make any sense, but I'll try and answer it anyways! Wheee!

Each DVD set has the episodes from one production run.  Volume one has 1ACV, Volume Two has 2ACV, and so on. Fox broke four production runs up into five airing seasons.  The episode that you want, The Sting, aired as part of Season 5, but was produced as a 4ACV episode. Therefore, it will not be on the Volume 3 DVD set, but rather on the Volume 4 set, which is not yet out in Region 1 (North America). Welcome to PEEL, hope that helped.

Actually yeah, that quote was written by someone from the Czech Republic (who actually has fairly decent English considering it's his second language) as are most of those quotes at the top (I've only added a few).  Anyways I can fix it, very easily actually, and thanks for pointing it out.

on a side note you could have emailed me or put it in the ssf thread  :p

Don't feel too bad Spacedal, I too forgot about the DVDs being released in volumes, not by season.

Oh and sorry about posting that here Winna. I'm an English grammar freak (I'm an English major) so when I saw that horrendous error I guess I got so excited over it I wasn't thinking straight and had to post about it right away.
