But we're 99.9% sure that there aren't going to be any plastic overlying covers for season 3 as there were for seasons 1 and 2?

[Zapp]What are you people, idiots?[/Zapp]
The package will be exactly the same as the Region 2 one. As will Season 4. I don't see why they'd change it.
Also, kind of old, but the Critic DVD is out now! Although I got super saver shipping from amazon, so I'll get it in 1.5 weeks. Grrrr...

I have a problem here. I'm debating between pre-ordering season 3 off the internet and waiting until it comes out to buy it in the stores. How many here pre-order (and where) and how many wait till the DVD is released?

if anyone wants to see what the discs look like for season 3, u can see the region 2 ones's by searching for "futurama season 3" on google. You can also find what the mini-cases will have on the back

What episodes are you going to watch first? I'm going to see Amazon Women in the Mood, and then some other random episode. I'm going to have to listen to the commentaries sparingly, though, because they are limited.

Amazon Women in the Mood
Luck of the Fryish
Insane in the Mainframe

Once I've watched all the episodes once, I'm going to listen to the commentaries

I always watch all the episodes, in order, once. Then, I watch all the episodes, in order, with commentary.

I watch all the episodes in order, then all the episodes in order with commentary, like Gorky. I try to space them out, but I end up watching upwards of 5 a night (well into the wee hours of the morning), whether I plan on it or not.

I have all of season 3 on tape, so when i get the dvds i don't hafta watch all the eps right away, so what i've done so far with all of the other Futurama sets is watch all of them back to back with commentary. And i watch the deleted scenes and extras as i go. So i watch everything that's on one dvd before i move to the next. Took about 9 hours to go through season 2, i'm anticipating about the same for season 3.

I have never seen an episode from season 3, as I started watching during season 4 and don't have cable. I'll probably start in order, and watch it all through in one week.

Wow Venus, you have a lot of patience to go through the entire season in one sitting! I prefer to watch two episodes at a time till I finish the set and then go back and watch with commentary. It spaces out the episodes and allows me to savor the experience a little longer.

I've seen every episode to death, so I usually watch the episodes with commentary first. Unless it's an episode I really want to see.
Also, my Critic DVD ships tomorrow! It's about friggin' time!

Not rude at all. He took his shell off in both "Amazon Women in the Mood" and "Bendin' in the Wind." I don't think there's anymore...

I would figure out which episodes I can't wait to watch, then tape those episodes. But I'd wait and not watch too many episodes from season 3, and wait till I get the DVD.
