The UK comics are in totally different order, and 'DOOP the Right Thing' hasn't even came out here yet, despite us being on issue #6! They totally screwed up the order here, in much the same way Fox did airing the actual episodes. I also get the US editions so I'm alright, but for anyone who doesn't, and lives in the UK, Futurama-O-Rama is highly recomended. I've got that too, and it rules!

So, if I'm only going to buy one, the US edition is the one to go for, right?

I don't get why they bother changing the release order for the UK.  Why do it?  They have the issues done for the US release, wouldn't it be more cost effective to release them in the same order over there?

BTW, for those of you in the UK who are confused, here's the US release order...

    • The sea monkey story
    • Lucy and Ricky aliens hijack the ship
    • The "Needy Newbies" issue
    • Apocalypse Now parody
    • Game show issue
    • Xmas issue
    • Terminator parody
    • X-Men parody
    • Fry/Professor brain swap
    • Olympics issue
    • Common cold virus
    • Fry joins a freak show
    • Bender becomes Robot Devil's chef
    • That weird issue that can be read seven different ways
    • Fry goes to Hollywood
    • "Back to School" issue

They're doing it differently to theme it around a current event. Last year, the AOI Bendernator issue was released at the same time T3 was in cinemas and DOOP The Right Thing was released around Valentine's Day.

The issue numbers were messed up right from the beginning when they released The Simpsons crossover issues as regular issues, rather than specials.
