I'm still not buying these, although they do look [strike]better[/strike] worse than I remember.

I can see Nibbler selling out quickest and the others sticking around on shelves for a while.
Fixed that for you. Surely it was a slight of the hand that made you type that. :D

Nibbler is amazing but I'm too cheap to shell out $30 bucks. If I saw it in person and nearly died of cuteness, I'd buy it but not online. I'll play my waiting game and hope my local comic book store gets 'em in.

No, I meant (slightly) better, although I think these images are from the most flattering angle and in good lighting.

Nibbler looks fine.  Bender and Zoidberg are stylized a bit too much to interest me.  They almost look like knock offs trying not to look too much like the actual characters.  I'm more of a plastic/action figure kinda guy but the right look to a plush can be appealing to me.  I think Nibber is close to that.  For me they just look a BIT too claw machine prize.

Hmm, I was right, they did make improvements to the prototype Bender. Not that it is good by any means.

I think on Bender if they'd improved his body as much as his face it would actually be cute, but nope. We can't have that.

I kind of like it.  I must admit, it should be a little bit bigger.   Are those the plushies from 'Kidrobot'?

Kidrobot had nothing to do with this. Toynami is making them.

Indeed. I do like Zoidy, but Nibbler is scary somehow, and Bender is just icky.

The newly announced Tineez look epic, though. SOOO cute. Very much in the vein of the pics you posted.

Plush Nibbler reminds me of dracula  :laff: ...
Plush Zoidberg .... I'm not excited either but probably I'll buy it for my girlfriend since he is her favourite futurama character and she liked his plush version.

EE is one of my favorites. Their price match guarantee is unbeatable.

I also adore Cosmic Clutter - I bought a couple of Toynami Frys (Encore) about two weeks ago. Mint condition for $13 plus shipping. They're sold out now, but they have other items.

lol. my wife was just now checking out the plush Nibbler and was like, "hey you can pull off his diapers." so as I walked over to see, she also discovered a plush nugget of dark matter hidden in his diapers. hahaha :D

I'd still buy them from Entertainment Earth - if you find them cheaper anywhere else, they'll do a 110% price match. I have $1.10 credit at EE for this reason. They're really nice about it.

I just ordered the three off Amazon - I actually was gonna order them off EE tonight but with shipping (and taxes) it came to almost $95 when each one was $24.99 a piece. On Amazon they were a bit more...$29.99 a piece, but it came with free shipping for them all. So I saved 5 bucks but hey...5 bucks is still money and I was ordering stuff off Amazon anyway for Derek :p

yeah i didnt know about EE's price match thing. there are lots of times I find them more expensive than alot of places. plus their shipping prices are crazy. but, if you get their free catalog in the mail and order $99 worth of stuff, enter the code from the back of the catalog and get free shipping (or $15 off your order, which is usually the cost of shipping). alot of times they have a promo running for free shipping with $99 purchase that wont require the code.

Say, how come there's only some of Bender, Zoidberg, and Nibbler?  Will there be some of Fry and Leela as well?

Here's hoping Kurt. They better not screw it up  Although making human plushies is a lot harder than animal ones. They tend to look...cheap and weird. Ever seen Star Trek plushies Ehhh not interested. I only collected stuffed animals anyway, not dolls.

apexxx: Yeah I had one of EE's catalogs in the mail from last time I ordered off Amazon and it came from them. The free shipping thing expired in February though so I didn't bother to look for more. And since I see according to the catalog it is based in North Hollywood, CA, that's why I was being reamed up the butt for tax. I did use www.retailmenot.com for each website I ordered off of, pretty sweet website. People list the coupon codes for various websites you can use. It helped me get free zombie blood on thinkgeek.com :)

Emily did you order them? I didn't know if you collected just the figures or everything Futurama :)

Mine just came in the mail today from Amazon. I will take pics later and post when I get a chance. For that reason I am keeping them in the bags they came in for the time being. All for you, PEEL! :laff:

They are actually much larger than expected. I thought they would be more like the size of the action figures or slightly larger. I thought that would have been a bit pricey for that but I figured ehh it's collectible that's why.

K I'm double posting because I finally took pics of them!

There's the dark matter Apexxx was talking about heh (it's attached to the diaper inside and it is plush too).

I kinda wish the plush Bender had something you could open like Zoidberg and Nibbler. On Zoidberg it was the lap coat and his clothing underneath, on Nibbler you could pull down you can take off the diaper to reveal the dark matter attached inside. They could have made his front door velcro and open to reveal something inside his chest compartment, they really missed a grand opportunity there but oh well. I am still very happy since plush + Futurama = my two favorite things ever.

They are quite much bigger than I expected and I am quite pleased with that. I thought I was paying 30 bucks for something the size of my foot but they are in fact double that size in height (I am size 7). hey are quite snuggable although I ruin the tags on my plush when I sleep with them so I will not be cuddling them at night. But I will keep them next to my bed on top of my tray of Futurama comics :D

To anyone who really loves plush animals and Futurama, I would highly recommend it. Even with the downsides I can actually say I have a soft Bendy, Zoidy, and Nibbly, who will always be in my presence in my room!!! :D :D :D

Nibbler and Bender are around a foot tall with his eye and thingy, respectively. Zoidberg probably closer to 10 inches.

Many of you know I have a vast plush collection...so this was a nice edition to that. Those who collect mainly the action figures might be put off by their appearance, as HJS said.
