I can't believe no one posted in this thread since October...

Anyway, there is an auction for the SDCC Nibbler in Space Suit Plush that just started. It's only at $20.00 with $8.00 shipping, which is a steal compared to the going rate it is elsewhere (and I would know, I paid nearly $80 for it on Amazon). Anyways, for anyone interested keep your eye on it - the person who bid has been buying up Futurama merch left and right off e-bay, anytime something is listed really low they automatically bid - curious to see if it's any lurkers we have around here :shifty:

But yeah, they got a Nibbler Moore action figure last week for $25. That is unbelievably outrageous. So I will keep my eye out daily for some good buys if anyone is interested.

Ugh, Kif is the only semi- cute one in this wave. Nibbler worked because Toynami did him more true to the cartoon, and I think there've been Nibblers before Toynami decided to join the plush mania.

Futurama and plush are my two favorite things, so I will be getting them...but I don't like to preorder that far in advance, so I will wait until sites have them in stock.

BTW, the new plush are in stock -

Amazon -

Kif

Morbo

Hypnotoad

E-bay-

Kif

Morbo

Hypnotoad

Looks like EE, BBTS are still on pre-order. I just ordered all 3 (Kif and Morbo off amazon obviously), I'm willing to pay a little more for Hypnotoad in case he becomes scarce like the kidrobot vinyl figure, he's the one I really want.

Can't wait to get these guys in! Will post pics when they arrive :D

Nice buy on those! Did you pre-order them at the 20% off?

I'm very hesitant with pre-orders. I have only ever pre-ordered one thing online, and that was the special edition Futurama monopoly with golden Bender token because you HAD to pre-order it to get that.

Ok, so looks like Entertainment Earth is in stock now, on the bay and Amazon. Curious - the items are $29.99, but shipping is only $4.99 on the bay but $7.95 on Amazon, maybe to account for steeper Amazon rates.

I did get them at $23.99 but don't know when they ship. I sent them an email asking. I decided to just buy them on Amazon (safer than ebay) as well. I'll give the second set to a friend or keep for when they get hard to find haha!

I try and pre-order because it usually helps the manufacturer with a good estimate on how much to ship out on their first batch. I work in retail that works with pre-orders and they really do wonders to not overstock or under stock!!

Well, I bought the Kif and Morbo through Amazon as they didn't have the Hypnotoad in their fulfillment center; and I checked the price difference with tax with the one Hypnotoad that was on there a few days ago through eknight-media vs. the one Hypnotoad that was on the bay a few days ago through the other guys, it was the exact same price, tax and all. So I bet myself it was the same vendor selling it and sure enough, my Paypal receipt says payment sent to an e-knightmedia.

But anyways, EE has it on Amazon now, and I'm sure on their own site as well.

Okay I just checked EE's website. Why does the Hypnotoad plush listed on their site look so different from the one listed everywhere else?

That one looks like the prototype they showed a while back! I do believe they revised it and looks like newer pictures.

Hey just a heads up for anyone ordering these from EE. If you order the full set via EE's eBay site as opposed to their regular site it is cheaper due to their combined shipping policy. With shipping the total came out to just under 33 bucks each for four. (had to buy a second Hypnotoad for my GF)

Interesting, Snips. You'd think it would be cheaper on their own site since they don't have to pay listing fees...?

I paid $29.99 for Morbo and Kif on Amazon with free shipping, and $36.99 on the bay with free shipping for hypnotoad, so that's about the same.

Glad Toynami revised the prototype, it's pretty bad lol.

BAD NEWS -

I have only received one plush so far, the hypnotoad, and it turns out the pic on the EE site WAS the correct one. The stock image that everyone else is using is incorrect, which is a major bummer because that was the cute one!!!! I was busy all day today but I will get pic up in the next couple of days to show you what I mean...

Ok, took some pics. Here it is next to the Kidrobot Vinyl Hypnotoad figure for detail comparison:

Here it is next to the SDCC Nibbler for size comparison:

So yeah, EE's image of it is actually the correct one, as opposed to the one you see everywhere else.

No, any proper Hypno-toad product MUST have the hypnotic eyes working to be officially a Hypno-toad of any kind.
But it doesn't look too bad.

I think I would really like this version of Hypnotoad if I didn't know they had the ability to make that better version from the prototype photo... now it just seems disappointing unfortunately.

Did anyone know there was going to be a plush Fry?  Toynami made a prototype, but the Fry doll never hit shelves and was cancelled.

Are the kidrobot toys still around or being made?

I am going to merge this with the Futurama plush thread...Bam!

Also, I don't know. They haven't done a human character as of yet, maybe for good reason.

Thanks for merging the thread.  HAs anyone noticed that the plush Bender's arms can rotate into a circle?

the Plush Fry was displayed at the toyfair 2 years ago with Morbo, Kif and Hypnotoad. This year he was unfortunately absent....

Here's a picture.

How do you wash the plushies in the washing machine?  If you wanted to wash them?   There should've been a plush Fry, Leela, Hermes, and Amy, too.
