I think it would be interesting if they made Futurama Plush Dolls.

The characters they should make would be Fry, Leela, Bender, Amy, Zapp, Kif, Nibbler, and Zoidburg.

They also should have a talking Bender doll and when you squeeze his hand he says "Bite my shiny metal ass" and some other quotes.

Family Guy has plush toys, so I don't see why Futurama couldn't. But it won't.

I would actually buy a Nibbler plush. And probably a few others, but specifically Nibbler, think he would make a great plush.

I would buy a Zoidberg one if he looked nice and smooth like he does in the show. He does not look good in any action figure though, but I think it's because he's so fat and chubby he would make a good plush.

Here's a link to some of the homemade plushies I've made so far.  Bender's in the works and next up is Leela.

Didn't DXC have some thing floating around awhile ago to see if he could sell a few stuffed Benders?

Come to think of it, I do recall seeing some sort of pattern or a Bender plushie.  Either it was a promo or if it was even on the market it was in limited quantities, if my memory serves me correctly.  I think I even had a picture of it at some point but I can't remember.

Nasty Pasty: I'm glad you like it.  Once I finish off some more Nibblers and another Zoidy, I should be able to spend some quality time with Bender and finish him up. (Somedays I just wish there were more hours in the run of a day.  Then realization set in. If that ever happened, they'd probably make us work 12 hours a day instead of the regular 8 so we be like at square one all over again! :laff  :)

I'd like to see some Futurama plush toys, myself.  Maybe ones that have a keychain on them.  There's already ones of Family Guy, why not Futurama?  Why should Family Guy get all the recocnition?

Or maybe there can be Futurama plushes of all the characters in different boxes.  One box can have a Fry, Leela, and Bender, and the other can have an Amy, Zoidberg, and Hermes.  Others can include, Farnsworth, Nibbler, and maybe Calculon!
Why not, right?

Yo B-i-G, I'd pay big money for a little stuffed Nibbler.

That is of course if you're willing to make one for me...

I have no problems making more as long as no one's in a big rush for them.  I've got like 3 stuffies (or maybe it's 4 now, I'd have to check) to make first.  I can just add you to the list!    :laff:

I'd love to have a Bender or Zoidberg plushie. (That way, my Bender plushie could try to teach my GIR plushie to drink and steal, and GIR would just sit there with a blank expression on his little face...that would be fun.) I'd get one of BIG's plushies, but I don't have the money, and I doubt that my parents would let me.

Well, today I was testing out my meta tags for my website and I actually found that Bender plush pattern I found so long ago.  Does anyone know if this ever went into production?  Here's a pic of the pattern:

 and here's the excerpt:

Quote
Probably the biggest news from the show, however really wasn't an announcement at all. On Saturday at the Bongo booth there appeared a little flier which had emblazened on it: Attention Meatbags! Since I am a meatbag I stopped to read it. Seems as though it was an interest list for those interested in purchasing a plush Bender toy. Since it was Futurama (and since I assumed it was a Bongo run thing) I went ahead and put my name down. The next day I found out that the list was dropped off by none other than David X. Cohen! The story goes that he has purchased the rights to produce a Bender plush toy and first wanted to see what the interest in the item was. I would guess that by the end of the weekend there around 20 email addresses written down.

For the full scoop you can check out the website:

To this point nothing has come about regarding this.  I had heard from some people that it was a serious idea that DXC was considering doing and I have emailed him regarding it but have not heard any new news on it.  It could be the email address I have is an old one for DXC and he no longer checks it.
I am planning on putting in some emails to other sources on this and see if they know the status of this. Since I assume that this is basically a privately funded project there could be delays in getting this out on the streets.  That and the way the sign up for this was handled at Comic Con could have been much better - in my opinion to get the most people interested you really need to get out on the internet and put the word out there - an official word!!
Will let folks know if I hear anything new on this.

So, there's really going to be a plush Bender coming soon?  That sounds cool!  Even though I'm not a fan of stuffed animals, my sister would love to have one!

It's about time Futurama had some plushies.  There should also be one of Fry, Leela, Amy, Hermes, and Zoidberg.  Maybe even the Professor!

That might be true but news has just come out that Applause has cancelled their remaining Simpsons plush lines so even Simpsons ones will not be produced anymore.

 They did do alot... didn't sell well then I'm guessing? In Forbidden Planet, when I went in March, it seemed like they sold quite well since there was only about 10 - 11 of them left, noticed that the I-Men did sell good... haha I have mine on my wall.

Sorry to go off-topic there. Just a thought this, but what about a petition... get people to sign and the title being "Fans Demand Futurama Plushes"...   :hmpf:

Hi, everyone. I was looking for Futurama stuff and I´ve found your comments. I´d like to say that I´ve been making soft Benders of felt. The biggest is 31,2 inches (80 cm). And the price is 80€ + delivery costs. The small one is 13,7 inch (35 cm) and the price is 30€ + delivery costs (from Spain).
If u want him dressed, i´ts ok too, just ask me and I´ll tell u the price (depends on what kind of costume).
I´m also making toys for a shop in my town, and some people asked me for a Nibbler, so if u prefer him, I could make it too.
If somebody is interested, please, let me know at inma.nodirection@gmail.com.
Best wishes 4 everyone.

Ah, the carefree days of childhood, when you'd sit on the floor reenacting your favourite forum topics with toys.

I'm still not buying these, although they do look better than I remember.

I can see Nibbler selling out quickest and the others sticking around on shelves for a while. I'm prepared to be disturbed by at least one of the inevitable Series 2 plushes (no humans please).
