Looks interesting, I'll be sure to get it. Does anyone know how long it takes for the direct edition to reach Australia? And thanks for not spoiling

I'll order this comic ASAP, assuming my regular England based store has it already. You said that this issue has a multiple character story structure, is the actual issue longer in pages? Or are the 7+ stories just really short?

I don't know why we can spoil TV episodes and not comics, but here we go: Most pages in the comic have six panels. Each panel focuses on a different character. You can either read the comic straight through like normal, or read just one panel per page. Both ways you get a complete story. One long story plus six one-panel-per-page stories equals seven stories. What makes it neat is that it's written so that dialogue in one panel fits with both the next panel or the panel for that character on the next page. But as I said, writing it this way sacrifices ordinary story structure, so you might not think the neat-factor is worth it.

Sometimes ordinary bookstores like Borders carry comic books. You could also look for it online, though the shipping cost would probably be more than the cost of the comic.

My shop carries two issues, one for me and a shelf copy, and if they sell out in the first week, then they'll reorder to see if it sells some more. Well, they sold out both the first day, mine and the other. So, they should be getting more in soon. Which means I have to wait, doggone it.
Oh and write to them folks, let Bongo know that people are reading their stories, so maybe they can print more on (dare I hope) a monthly basis, if they can keep the quality up.

The 7 story idea was a good idea, but I thought that it ultimately sucked, this is the worst Futurama Comic yet, the story seemed disjointed. But the art was pretty good tho.

This issue is inventive, nobody can take that away, but it doesn't always work. I's good but not great. The bold concept is a bit hit-and- miss, and leads to dialouge that is vauge and doesn't always flow too well. The artwork sometimes reaches high standards like issue 11, however many panels reach the lows of issues 2 and 10. I admire the skill and inventiveness that has gone into making this concept, I just wish Bongo had pulled it off a bit better.
Overall: C+

This is a great issue, I managed to pick it up last week. I love the way you can read it 7 different ways, but you can just read it normally too. Unique issue, and everyone in Planet Express was used plentfully. Although Zoidberg was used a little too much and started to get annoying IMO. I think they overused him to make up for the Professor being alseep. Also, I love the unfinished inventions, such as the reverse camera where the picture goes in, and comes out real. Neat ideas, and well wraped up at the end. But not quite perfect. I found that the artist had problems drawing Amy's expressions, and on one page she seemd to have the same expression on every panel. But other that that, awesome artwork too, neat issue
