I've got quite a bit of Futurama merchandise now (see How Much Ya Got?), but has anyone here purchased a Futurama item and been disapointed with it? On the other hand what items have you bought that surpased your expectations?

I recently bought the Pop-Out People sets, they were so cheap I just added them to an order, just for the sake of having them. Anyway, I hardly had huge expectations for them, after all they're just bloody cardboard right?
But I have to say that they are waaay better than I expected. For what they are, they actually pretty fun. They are a nice thing to have on your desk. So 10/10 for the Pop-Out People. I also think that The Slurm Can is especially good, and The Gender Bender always makes my laugh just by looking at it.
Oh and he comics are getting really good too. They are almost as essential as the real episodes for fans.

I haven't been disapointed with any Futurama stuff yet. Although I have to say that lots of it is very overpriced! My advice is to use Ebay, you can get really lucky (£12.00 for The Gender Bender, brand new in the box)
Anyway, over to you...

Only one thing really, The planet express ship action figure. It lacks a base like the other figures, its quite small and has little articulation plus it costs the same as the others. i know you can't expect much from it but a bit more effort would have been nice although the detail is fantastic.

I can see where you're coming from. But I actually bought it as park of the Collect-o-pack, which I got very cheap in the first place. So I actually like it alot. But if i'd got it seperatly I might be a bit disapointed.

I really want to get that Slurm can, but I don't have a credit card.

I've never really been disappointed with anything though. If anything it would be the season 2 dvd. When I got the season 1 dvd set it was so awsome I watched the episodes over and over again, but when I got the season 2 one it was like... 'meh'. It's great now but at the time I think I was a little disappointed. It just wasn't as exciting as getting season 1.

Disappointing purchesments in the field of Futurama quality merchendise:
1. The PE-ship action figure is utterly disappointing. HEllo fun! Where are you?!?
2.The brainslug squishy toy that "exploded" in my face spraying my eyes with soapwater or something.
3. I thought the 2003 wallcalendar was going to be better. It's still alright.
