I also have said demo. Fry's van from "Bendin' in the Wind" is in the level, complete with skeleton hanging out of the window wearing a bandana. There is also a "Monkey Fracas Jr." arcade machine in the bar.

Actually, it would seem its coming out for GC NEVER. Well, at least not in North America. It seems it might still be on track for Europe and Australia. I guess a late release is possible if the other version sell well, but don't bank on it.
Anyways, good news that its at least fun, from the demo (I haven't played, just from what has been said from those who have here). Any other details you can give us, like about the layout of the level (what "bar" is in the game, anyway?)? Any specific quotes you can tell us, or specific locations/easter eggs in the level? And do they ever put those dics from the magazine in the kiosks at stores, or are those demo discs generally seperate? Seems like if its the same disc the rest of us could still get in on some Futurama action via visiting retailers.

There has been no official word that it has been canned for gamecube anywhere. If u go to www.sci.co.uk and then go to the futurama section, then the gamecube section it says comming 2003 where as PS2 and XBOX say july 4th, which suggests that GameCube will be out later especially as the Trailer on the DVD set says on PS2, XBOX and GameCube. All promotional material as said GameCube except the press release. prehaps someone should contact SCI about its status on GC?

You need something called a freeloader I think, and then you need to import the game. Whether you want to do that or not might depend on whether this game is worth the import shipping, price of the game and freeloader (the freeloader is 20 bucks from what I've seen) Plus, the gist I've gotten from a little research is that you might need a special adapter or something, depending on your tv, as their tvs are different over there. But a freeloader itself is essentially, from what I know, a disc you put in your system that lets you calibrate from a menu which region you want your system to play, and you can then put in your game (while the system is still on) and play it.
Someone want to help me out here with explanations, and some more info? See, I might like to import the game myself...
Oh, and its been confirmed to IGN (they had a reply about it in one of their mailbag sections) that the game is canned for the cube, in the US anyway. Sci's site is UK based, as is the company, so the cube one still being listed is probably indicitive of that.

From everything I've read, even if the Futurama game isn't great to play (although it's apparently good fun, but straightforward) one thing that you can be 100% sure of is that it will be funny, very very very funny infact. several magazine have already called it the funiest game in history!

Here in the UK it's hard not to be aware of the Futurama game. It's been featured in almost every game magazine in recent months. And I haven't even been buying them, I just read the Futurama part then put it back on the shelf.
