Wow - no one's posted here yet...

It wasn't the greatest issue, but was kinda funny. The gratuitous nudity on the fron tcover was a little strange....

What do others think?

#13 is a good one. Good drawing and a funny story. I'm surprised, but i liked the fact that they did cut down Zoidberg. They somehow overused Zoidy in the previous Issues.

Another cool issue of Futurama Comics. Ian Boothby has really got a good sense for the characters and you can tell that he must be a fan of the show. With two new writers entered into the fold of Futurama Comics I wonder if they can get their enough people to staff the comics to go monthly? Or at least give us another title similar to Radioactive Man Comics where it comes out quarterly.
Does anyone know if they are planning an AoI comic this year? If I remember correctly they were planning on doing one last year but Groening like the stories so much they became full fledged issues (7,8 and 9 became those issues). I would love to have an annual like that similar to THOH for Simpsons Comics.

However, I was shocked about something said by a robot. I said that he had watched "Star Trek"! And nothing happened! I demand an explanation for that.

I picked it up yesterday, at a comic con here in the US.  It was a pretty fun story, and a good follow-up to the shippier previous story.  I hope that they can keep up the quality, and really hope that if they do have Fry/Leela get together in the last animated story, then they'll follow up on it within the comic book, as that'll be our only visual format for at least a while.

#13 is a good issue. the artwork is excellent and the jokes are good. The story may feel a bit like a rip off of The 30% Iron Chef crossed with Hell is Other Robots, but the comic is such high quality that you don't really mind.
Overall: B+

Yay! Someone read my profile!  :)

On the topic, I think #13 was one of the better issues. Good art and story and a couple of great laughs.

I got it and the artwork was good, some laughs even though the story was kind of mixed with 30 % I ron Chef and Hell Is Other Robots.  But since it was Bender, centered, you gotta love it!

True, the issue borrowed a little bit from both of those episodes but I think that is what is making it so cool. It is really integrating themes from the show into the comics itself. It is just not an excuse to get the gang together and write a bunch of jokes around them.
You can tell Ian is a fan of the show as in this second story he has used aired episode references pretty liberiously. Is that a word?  :)

For a comic this is great. The artwork is flawless cause it looked like the tv series and the plot has several references to past episodes.

Got a little heavy during the middle part with Bender running away and stuff but overall a 5.

Very good for a comic. 5/5 <-> 9/10

Close enough.
To reach Futurama Comics I believe the email address is futuramacomics@bongocomics.com. Please do email them as they seem to be having a shortage of fan mail coming in.

According to this Website it is not planned to be published this week...

But, it's supposed to be out this month, so my guess would be last week of July.

If you didn't notice the robot devil's plate on his car spells "666" in binary code.

Binary? 666 Isn't Binary. 666 stands for hell or devil or something in that direction.

The robot devil's license plate was "0110-0110-0110" which is the binary code for "666".
