Just wondering because the U.S. has to wait an extra couple months to get the DVDs.

Couple of months? Try 14.

The short answer: money.

The slightly longer answer: FOX want to make as much money on Futurama as possible. And that means syndication. Releasing the DVD's earlier would greatly reduce the value of syndication deals. Stations like CN wouldn't pay 10 million dollar if the show was available on DVD's before the deal was signed.

That just sucks.  Screw Fox.  They didn't sell the thing in the first place.  They really don't deserve the money.  But thats how the crap falls sometimes.

Hmmmmmmm.......all-region dvd player......hmmmm.  The only thing is I don't have British pounds just lying around for the imported DVD's from the U.K..

I thought about posting something similar, but then realised it goes without saying.

Eh,....screw the Europeans.  Next time a war over there starts, lets nuke them.  Aww, lets just nuke the French government buildings.  Better use than Nelson Muntz's "nuke the whales" I guess.  ;)

Blast, where are those faces?    :laff:  Ah, better quote than quickpost.  I get the faces shown like that.  Quickpost kinda sucks like that
