I never did get a hold of The Crossover #1, anyway I was talking to the guy from a comic store here in Brisbane (Ace comics), and he said that he couldnt get in back issues, But said it was likely they would release the 2 editions together in either a collector's edition, or in a "paperback" like the trade paper back.

Can anyone confirm this?

I have only heard minor rumours on this front. I hope they do some type of deluxe format trade for this with some extra material thrown in. Interviews, sketches and that sort of thing.
Currently Amazon is listing a couple of mystery Futurama items one of which appears to be the 2004 calendar which I hope comes through. There are some others listed as a hardback with 6 issues so I do not know if that is a mistake or what.
Brisbane? I assume that is in the UK? If so the UK version of Futurama Comics is currently reprinting the crossover and it has started with issue 3 and will conclude in issue 4. You can check my site for if you need more clarification on this Grim.

Nup
Brisbane is in Australia, no1 here imports the british editions, as there is no point as the us imports are here first. The 2 years later the Australian versions are released

So there is a possibility of a paperback version of the Futurama/Simpsons crossover?

It would be good if there was. I have not heard any thing about it though.

My money is on that they will do a trade of these issues. When would be the question but I would hope and expect it to be sooner rather than later. I do not know that for a fact but more speculation on my part.

If they were to release a paperback of it how much would it cost? Would it be cheaper or more expensive to buy them seperatly?

If it's more expensive then I don't see any point in them releasing one.

the tradepaper back of the first 4 is $12.99 US so about $20AUD

I only ever saw Futurama-orama once here in australia, in this little dingy store, behind 10 simpsons comics... I think it was marked $30...
