Not everyone, just everyone else  :evillaugh:.

Then again, this would play into FOX's hands! I cannot do such a thing (as if I would).  ;)

hey, i was wondering if anyone elses australian dvd season 2 audio commentaries are a little "off".
what i mean is when the commentators stop saying stuff and you can here the characters speaking the sound track is about 2 seconds behind the footage. Did this happen to everyone or have i gone insane?   :(

Oh well, but some people (me) don't have credit cards or parents who trust the internet.

When I bought mine I used my parents creditcard, I just agreed that if something went wrong I'd foot the bill for any expenses. But now I have my own creditcard-

Hmmmm.. "How Hermes Requisistioned His Groove Back" was losing sync towards the end for me.

That happens on the UK set as well. I think they must have deleted something by accident which de-synched the audio.

I don't know whether it happens on many tracks, but "Requisitioned" is definitely the worst.

I have a feeling it's to do with the DVD player - because if you change the audio tracks whilst playing (instead of doing it via the menus) my iBook speeds up the normal audio track, allowing it to "catch up" with the commentary. This only happens on the S2 Futurama...maybe that's got something to do with it.

Now grim be honest is there any difference between the uk and australian copies?

The actual discs - no. If there was, it would be a pointless waste of time to have australian copyright notices on the UK edition (but knowing Fox...)

I haven't actually READ the rest of this topic, so I'm not sure if my question's already been answered. Anyway, I live in Australia (as most of you may know) but our family doesn't actually HAVE a DVD Player yet.

Alright, finished laughing at me yet? Okay, I'll continue now.  :)

Anyway, we're getting a DVD player in July, so I'm starting to stock up on DVD's now. What I want to know is - can you get the Futurama Season 1 & 2 DVD's in shops or anything, or do you HAVE to order it off the net?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm not sure if DVD retailers would stock a DVD box-set season of a somewhat unpopular show or not...

Damn, I'm gonna look like a real moron when I submit this post, but oh well, at least I'll get my question answered...
