Has anyone listened to these on the DVDs yet?
There are some startling clues as to what is happening to the series.. comments like "that's if it makes it to DVD"  (about the season 4 episodes) and lots of little bits about fox, etc. It's very amusing stuff and I am urging everyone with the sets to watch em!!

My favorite is when Fry and Leela are gonna kiss in x-mas story (i think - one of the episodes that they get close..) and (forgive me i forget who) says "I go on the internet after each episode is aired, and people get annoyed when they dont kiss!"

Lots of usful info on them commentaries,I highly recommend them.
(unless there has already been a post about it!!!)

seeya later chumps...

Well the DVD's have been around for nearly one year, so I guess most with a DVD have listened to the commentaries already. Just take a look at the merchandise section.

It was the first I listened to when I got mine. And yes, the audio commentaries are superb for spoilerific information, and thoughts of the production crew.

What I''ve noticed in particular (apart from DiMaggios wit and crazy laughter) is that Cohen is a nerd (in the best possible way) like the rest of us. He gets so easily exited about cientific references and obscure jokes. What a great guy.

They are very good. It's interesting to learn about how the episodes changed during production and the witty banter that goes on between them is wonderful!

I still think Katey Sagal should do an episode though. Just one would be fine. She can't have that busy a schedule can she?

Yeah, I listened to all the audio commentries and I learned lots of things I never knew about Futurama. I  have only heard up to the end of season 1 becasue the season 2 DVD is yet to be released here in Australia.

I'm pretty sure emanon is right, because why would Fox bother to put an Australian copyright warning on the season 2 DVD...

Both UK Futurama sets work with Australian DVD players. More info on them in several threads here (use search) and on CGEF: http://www.gotfuturama.com/Information/Articles/Futurama_DVD_Season_2/
