Will comics continue?

If Futurama gets cancelled by Fox will they still continue to make the Futurama comics?

Good question. The comics don't rely on the show for plots though, so I'm hoping so.

I expect they'll continue for a couple of years after, then they'll slowly fizzle out.

I think that they will. We still have Dennis the Menace and that's cancelled they have stop the series here. Also there is Sonic the Hedgehog comics and the programme was cancelled. And the Simpsosn will stop in 2006 but the comics will go on!

Unfortunately, I've heard 'round town that Futurama will end at #15. Why? For its TV cancellation. That genuinely sucks. I hope that they continue.

Yeah but Dennis the menace was a comic before the show came out, that's what it's known for, and the Sonic the hedgehog video games still carry on :/ I hope you're right though.

As mentioned, Dennis The Menace was a comic then TV, Sonic was game, then comic, then TV and the Simpsons ending in 2006? Are you making that up or do you know or what?

In my opinion if Futurama gets cancelled then PEEL will continue for a ehile but eventually we will all start to lose intrest and the bord will die some day

Why does it take so long for comics to be released. Here in Australia we are still waiting for #5 and it says it will be out in April. Since it is already made why the hell can't they just release it now?

The local comic book store I go to sells the first issue for $4.00 now.     Being that I'm always behind in everything, I coughed up the money just because I wanted it right then.  Well, actually being that I'm broke, my girlfriend went and bought it for me.  Oh what a sweet girl

If nothing else they are scheduled to go to at least issue 13. I have put up a scan of what is probably going to be the cover image of that issue at my site. Sounds like it will be a good one and I really think they will continue on with the series. So long as the sales are pretty solid they will continue. With the crossover and issue 11 being so well and 12 and 13 both look they will be good too I think they are just starting on an upswing. Looks as though they have brought the idea of gratuitous nudity to the comics as well. 
So long as they can keep a consistant schedule on them and continue to put out quality issues like those mentioned above I see no reason why they will not continue for some time to come.

Bongo has actually been pretty good about the schedule as of late. Even though the comics are supposed to come out in the last week of the month they are typically running one week behind so you would be correct in that this issue (13) will probably come out in June. The first week in June though.
The good news is that they are coming out every two months whereas middle to late last year the schedule was all out of whack.

The cover of the new issue looks great...

The problem is, I'm from Austria and here you can only get the german version of the comics, which I don't like (I also prefer the english episodes).
Does anyone know a way to get the english ones without paying 10$ for the delivery?

Don't you have a good Comic Store nearby?These Stores tend to have US Imports, which arrive usually at the same time, when the Issues are released in the US.
