I got the discount on the season 2 set, as far as I remember.

A question to mArc (if he ever read this), can I benefit CGEF/PEEL in any way when I shop at other sites, or is it only Amazon?

Its clearly April 11th. All DVD's are released on a Friday and are all put up for pre-order a week before.

Will you be queuing outside a shop the night before Lee? Will you have a sleeping bag outside HMV? Can't wait to see the look on your face when you walk in the shop at 9am.

Amazon only. The links would be http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000092WDA/cantgetenough-21  and http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000092WDA/cantgetenou03-21  , but the second is an import of the UK version to germany. If you want the german sets, I'd wait for the real German thing to come up for pre-orders.

Thanks, I already pre-ordered them yesterday, through CGEF. The price at Amazon.co.uk isn't that bad (12% disocunt), and I never use Danish subtitles anyway.

Aw, you made me feel guilty now. Decided to order them through Amazon anyway, since it helps CGEF and I'll get them quicker   :D.

Potential problem though - my card expires in June of this year:

1. Does 06/03 mean the card will expire June 30th, or June 1st?

2. If the latter, does card verification occur before or after the pre-order stock arrives?

Don't know if this has already come up, but Futurama S3 is now in the top 10 pre release DVDs at Amazon (it comes in at number 8).

Edit: Also, number 27 in the top 40 best selling.

It's my birthday on that day as well, so the plan is to pre-order them off Amazon so that *hopefully* they'll come on the day and I'll be able to watch them after the exams  :D

Hey, this site says May 27th.
 http://www.dvdstrax.com/no/index.php3?SCREEN=kommende&region=2&page=2
It's a Norwegian site, so I don't expect you to understand much.

Wow, I had to register just because I wanted to make one post.

I'm not happy with that box art (doesnt mean I wont buy it)
It doesnt seem to match the last 2 sets, different design, different colour scheme, would look a bit odd up against the others.

Season one and two DVDs had a different cover design as well. I wonder how the Box looks like. Too bad Lee Roberts isn't around...   :evillaugh:

They were different, but very similar, both grey, both with a scene behind it. That one looks like it has a different picture of the character underneath, and its black / dark blue.

At least the first 2 were similar...

Can u tell us about the easter eggs Lee?!

I liked the covers with a whole bunch of things related to the episodes on it. And also, you guys should stop whining, you're damn lucky because here in the US, all we have is Season 1, and now that's old because I've watched it like, 5 times!

Looks like the back of the box to me. Hopefully the rest of the PE crew will appear on the plastic slip case, or on the DVD cases themselves.

actually on closer inspection it looks like the inner cardboard case holder, underneath the plastic sleave...
hmm now if the sleave matches the rest of them, Im all set  :D

Awesome. Awesome to the max   ;).

Looks like they went all out on this set (well, hopefully not all out, since we still got the S4 set to look forward to   ;)). Definitely some very cool stuff on there. But where are the 3D turnarounds?

50 days to go   :D.

EDIT: Oh, and the box-art linked:
