I'm talking about the Family Guy release. It'll offer more in region 1 form than in region 2.

don't care for family guy.  never really liked the show.  dont wanna buy the dvds.  but what pisses me off is that the first season of south park had a horrible dvd.  everyone is bitchin that the dvd fell flat  :( oh well, didnt really like the first season that much.  it doesnt get really good until later on.

One thing still puzzles me.  Will the commercial still be in the US DVDs, or be omitted, or will there be a separate US commercial which will be added to the set (doubt it though..)?

The trailer for the DVD set was recorded in America, with an American voice over dude. I'd imagine it will be on the R1 DVD set, I very much doubt they will make a new one.
