I think I saw that, Dadbot's a subscriber.  The S2 DVD's have gotten rave reviews by most of the press.

I noticed that it's the highest placed box-set in the store charts, which is pretty cool.

Wooo!  TOTPD

Anyways, you could get the Region-X disk for PS2.

Failing that, move to England.

He'd still need a PAL to NTSC convertor, unless the PS2 has one in there.  Looks like he'll have to move to England.

The only annoying thing is hearing David X. Cohen advertising the Season 3 Box.    :D
Still 9 months to go.
Besides that, they are great.

If there's any chance (remote though it may be) that any PEELers haven't actually got the Season 2 DVDs yet, I thought I'd mention you can get them from www.dvd.co.uk  for only £30 with free postage to the UK. Not bad, not bad at all.

Also, at CD Wow for the same price.  However, I got mine from Amazon when they knocked off 45% (the princely sum of £22).

Bargain.

 :laff:  Bless ya!

One thing which I've noticed about S2, is how many PEEL avatars you can spot in them.  There's loads.

Probably means I'm spending too much time on PEEL

Yeah, I was a bit scared by thinking that as I watched the DVDs, and I've only been here a week! Still, everyone's changed their avatars now, so confusion abounds in my head!

Hey!  So it wasn't just me!

Like when I was watching "Bicyclops..." and I think I said "VelourFog" out loud.

Actually her avatar is from "Hell Is Other Robots", but the mistake is easy to make. The situations look very similar.

Looking at the framegrab below (from BMFT), you can see how I made my mistake.  :)

I know, I made the same mistake, as did most. VF told us that we were mistaken. The avatar is from the scene when Leela has to concentrate in order to stay clear of the Cul-De-Sac (or is it Coalsack?) nebula. Avesome graphics in that scene, btw.

Ok, this may sound dumb, but forgive me, I don't know any better. What are Easter Eggs? I've watched the season 2 DVDs now and didn't see any, but I wasn't sure what I was looking for.

Easter Eggs are extra features hidden on DVDs.  You access them by hitting different buttons etc.  They're sort of like bonus tracks on CDs.  I don't know the specifics of the Easter Eggs on the Futurama DVDs though, sorry.

Thanks.
I think Chump posted some details on one thread but, as I hadn't watched all the dvds at that time, they didn't make a lotta sense. And, um.... doesn't make too much sense now. I am the brunette bimbo.

Thank you, Melllvar.
So they're extra pictures hidden on the DVD menus if you press the right buttons... ah, makes sense now. Just didn't have a clue what they were at all before! I guess I've been trying to cling onto my love of VHS for too long now...

Yes, but annoyingly, "The/My Problem with Popplers" isn't on that disc.

Play it on a DVD-ROM drive (like I do - I ordered it from England then just watch it on my DVD-ROM drive, which, oddly enough, was RPC1 when I got it).

I got the U.K. version season two box.

Has anyone ever smelled their season two box? I think it smells good. I love as much as new car smell.
I watch them on my computer. Too bad the image looks a bit weird, it 's as if it should be stretched in width a little.

In mine (imported U.K. version), 1 and 4 have "push" buttons in the boxes.

And I still say they smell as good as new car interior.

Never! Nothing can beat that smell, except maybe Christmas trees.

All but one of mine are spikey, the push one seems really hi-tech, unlike any other push one Ive seen before.

Hi, this is my first post, haha.  Anyway, I was looking to import the season 2 dvd set, and I was wondering where the best place to do it would be (I live in the US).  I was trying to look online and what not, but I don't know if there's a certain way you have to order it through Amazon.co.uk from the US.  Also, about how much is a good price for the set?  I really want it, but I don't want to get swindled  ;)  Thanks!
