I got the seson 2 dvd two days ago

In Sweden the seson 2 DVD was reaslesed tvo days ago. Great Stuff on there.

How is the packaging on the new DVD set?  Do they still have a thin plastic liner on the outside like the season 1 DVD?  I was hoping they'd do away with that because it's very easy to damage.

I know what you mean about the plastic, and I have a feeling that the second Season does have it, although I'm not certain. Here's a picture, it doesn't give anything away, but I thought I'd post it anyway

That packaging looks great (apart from the fact that whoever coloured it in doesn't know what colour Zoidberg's tongue is supposed to be..)! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy, if only for the brilliant commentaries and the French dub (I'm learning French at uni).

Are there any pictures available of the individual DVD cases? Who's on the spines of them this time, too?

well yeah, I got the season 2 box two days ago. already watched 15 episodes out of 19. damn great stuff even though the menu system when selecting an episode, audio, subtitles and stuff is not designed very well (just as in season 1). oh and the package has a slightly different picture than shown above.

I might be wrong, but when you say the packaging has a slightly different picture to the one I posted. To me it looks like the one you posted is exactly the same box, but just the other side of it. I don't have it yet so I don't know, but Professor Farnsworth gives it away.

Yeah, I guess you're right. But the version I have only has this picture. Nothing on the back, just some text and info about the DVDs, playing time and stuff...

Maybe Otis's picture is of the VHS's. I had both of the season 1s (DVD and VHS), and due to the larger size o the VHS's there were extra pictures on the box.

Also, as Otis (I think) mentioned, there's been a review of the boxset in DVD Review magazine. It got 4/5 stars. I might scan it in later if you guys think ii'll be allowed (ie I wont get sued  )

That's a good point Although I doubt my picture is for the VHS set because it says 'Disc 1'...etc, on the side.

You're right, I did mention about there being a review in DVD Review. That's cool that you might scan it. If you don't, then I can always scan it instead, as long as someone else hosts it

Havent noticed any of that. Try your disc on someone elses DVD player or borrow a disc and see if it happens again. And even if my disc would have the same problem as yours, it wouldnt matter that much to me. As long as the episodes play ok (and they do, watched them all already    ).
