The talking Bender is very good.  It's really high quality and it's larger than the regular figures, which I like.

I haven't had it for too long, but no paint has been chipped so far.

I definitely recommend it.

Are his arms bendable, like the smaller figure's arms are? This isn't really a deciding factor, I just want to know for reference.

Talking Bender is my favorite Futurama collectible so far... Arms swivel at body,
but are not much bendable. You can bend arms slightly, but they move back to original position.
He says many quotes from the show, which is very cool!  :D

Wish that Toynami would do more talking figures,
like a Talking Calculon, and a Talking URL, Fry, Leela, and Professor!

So, I think by this point, it's safe to assume that we'll never see Morbo, Lrr, Flexo, or the Robot Mafia in stores. It's a shame, really, as those figures looked quite amazing, sculpt wise. At least we got all of the other figures, though. It was a great run Toynami, and It's sad to see that it has seemingly come to an end. :hmpf:

End? Maybe not those figures, but maybe not a complete STOP!

I think we'll probably see the kickstarter eventually. This is Toynami we're talking about here. How many times did we think that we'd never see Destructor, and again the Desctructor/GB set?

They haven't said it's not happening so it probably will at some point.

The only thing we know is there is no way to know, only time will tell. I figure just put the line out of your mind and if something happens so much the better.

While I'd get behind Kickstarter, I'd be just as happy to see Toynami release Morbo and/or Lrr as SDCC exclusives next year. Somehow that wouldn't surprise me.

I think the SDCC exclusives are going to continue. They have sold out every single one they have had.

Yah... and the re-sale prices on eBay are thru the roof, baby!

I'd kill for a Talking Lrr figure...

Agreed. I seriously don't see there being any more worthwhile Toynami in our toy collecting futures.

There's a Hypnotoad coin bank and a Shogun Warrior Bender left.. and then it's probably over.

I doubt I'll buy either.

They left out so many great characters.  I don't get some of their choices, for example why did we get Nudar?  I mean sure he's a cool character, but why him when they could've made so many others.  I would've bought a Lrrr or a Morbo.

My thoughts exactly...

Guess we need Prof. Farnsworth's 'What If' machine to see the cool figures of LRRR and all the rest we dream of getting...

Well, since the line is over...

Which characters that were never in the line do you think should've had a figure? I think Scruffy would be the main contender, as he's a Planet Express crew member, and he is very memorable. What do you all think?

Scruffy definitely would've been awesome.  He could come in a double pack with Cubert.

Does anyone want a Destructor from the Gender Bender set? I'm looking to sell my extra. It's basically new, never removed from the box (although obviously I opened the box to get my Gender Bendery goodness).

I'm gonna list it on ebay in a few days if no one on here wants it.

Kidrobot is where it's at now for Futurama... Hedonismbot is the future!

I still think we'll see Morbo eventually. Maybe as the next SDCC.

I'm surprised that FP came through, it isn't listed for sale on their site so I'm not that bothered. Kinda annoyed that I had to pay all that import duty (stupid guy agreed to mark the value on the package down and then didn't when he sent it).

Anvils are pretty dense, aren't they?  That was me, dummy.  To defend myself, I said no international shipping.  Anvil begged me to ship it to him and mark down the value and I finally caved in and said ok.  I told him what the post office wanted to ship it and he complained.  I then said screw it and bought the shipping online since he was unwilling to pay what the post office wanted and the online MADE me value the package at what it sold for.  I paid half of the import taxes to make him happy and he still cried about it.  Just wanted to tell my side of the story, but then again he already knows all of this :)

They have 88 in stock, so it seems they've sold at least half their stock as I remember them having at least that much. Doesn't help that they didn't list "Destructor" in the product description. Wonder how many people searched for Destructor, got no hits and went elsewhere.

On a related note, I didn't realize that Toynami had its own online shop:

http://www.toynamishop.com

Only seem to be selling eight things though. With Destructor sets there, I'd say it's stuff they are having trouble moving. But then Hypnotoad is there and he's sold out at say BBTS, so that doesn't really support that theory too well.

Yeah because asking = begging. Someone going to the post office to post to the US doesn't involve any more or less effort to ship anywhere else.

You told me you'd mark the value down before I paid. And then changed your tune as soon as I did. Not only did you NOT mark the value down, you wrote the total value including shipping, costing me even more.

Anyone would be pissed off. You lied, end of.

I went to the post office.  I told you what they wanted to ship it.  You didnt like it.  I said pay me x amount.  I bought the shipping online to save face.  Ebay marked the value on the statement, not me.  It was my first time shipping internationally and I didnt know they did that.  I paid half to redeem the situation.  I dont know what I would gain from lying to you about that.  I was out money AND time from dealing with you.  I consider it begging when I tell you know on these forums and then no again on ebay.  Let that be a lesson for anyone wanting to deal with this little butt hurt cry baby.  DONT DO IT!
