Hey guys I was just randomly on theinfosphere.org and read on the Toynami toy line with Morbo that they are planning a Kickstarter in August 2013. I wanted to set this up to have an easy way to inform others if and when this Kickstarter campaign starts. I'll be checking as much as possible on Kickstarter.com, but if anyone sees it before me they should post it on here for all of us!

http://theinfosphere.org/Toynami_Futurama_Figures

"History: Morbo was initially listed as a build-a-figure for series 9. It was then decided not to produce buildable figures any more, so he became a main figure for series 10 with Lrrr. Next he was listed as Deluxe, followed by a change to Vinyl, this alternate material was presumably to prevent a large price difference. Toynami then announced on its Facebook page that series 10 was cancelled and there were no plans to make any new figures.
However, Morbo resurfaced at SDCC 2013 with the announcement that he would be the focus of a Kickstarter campaign in August 2013."

Also this is what they had for Lrrr

"History: Lrrr was originally announced as part of series 6, before being replaced by Amy. He returned in series 10, then was listed as Deluxe, followed by a change to Vinyl, again presumably for cost-saving reasons. With the cancellation of series 10, Lrrr was permanently shelved. However, should the Kickstarter campaign for Morbo prove successful, perhaps Lrrr could be next. "

Hey there, I'm the one who wrote that stuff over at the Infosphere!  :laff:

We've been discussing it over in the Toynami figures thread starting here:

http://www.peelified.com/index.php?topic=23343.msg1383977#msg1383977

You may be surprised to know the Kickstarter idea started here when we suggested to our Toynami mole.  ;)

But for that story, you'll need search back through the Toynami figure thread(s) to last year...

I posted this on a different thread, but I'll put it here too, since it's about the Kickstarter. I can't wait for this, we'll finally get Morbo :D!!

"Morbo shouldn't. It will go straight to Morbo's gargantuan forehead. Oh, what the heck? I guess I could destroy one or two of them."
