The PS3 is somewhat backwards compatible. Lots of PS1 and PS2 games play on it, no problem, but lots don't. I can't seem to find any information regarding the Futurama game for PS2.

Does anyone know if it'll play on the PS3? If it matters, I'll be using a PAL copy of the game and PS3.

I think it depends on which PS3 model you're using. From what I understand, (and I could be wrong) the earlier models had backwards compatibility but it was removed from the more recent incarnations due to the price.

I can't say I know if the Futurama game will work or not. I'd test it myself, but I unfortunately sold my PS2 and all its games years ago.
