Hi folks! Much as I am a huge FUTURAMA fan, I am having to have a bit of a clear-out of my collection of cool stuff - amongst them is a great official FUTURAMA Presskit from 1999!
I would much rather this goto someone who is a fan and appreciates!

It contains a stapled 9 page A4 document detailing voice cast and key people in the production, a 10"x 8" black and white photo of the cast of characters + 16 full colour press slides featuring characters, scenes and promo art. MINT condition. £35.00 + shipping.
If you are interested, please pm me

The "photo" looks nice. Wouldn't really want any of the other stuff though. Perhaps if you split the slides up and put them all on eBay seperately, you could get more money? Just a thought.

Very nice. If it was on eBay, I'd buy.

The slides are not worth a lot. I saw them sometimes for low winning bids. But normally, the press kit includes more items like a shirt, a can of robot oil, a CD, Panucci box, ...
And it was bagged when it came out in 1999.

But I'm not sure if there are different kinds of press kits. I only know the "bender statue press kit" and the smaller one mentioned above.

I didn't know Larry originally had a monocle, or a glass eye, or whatever that is.

Hi guys, thanks for the interest; the item actually sold pretty darn quick after posting. apologies for the delay in notifying this.
After reading the comments here, I wanted to add a response or two....
The slides are an actual marked set in a wallet - for collectability and valuation purposes, it really wouldn't be wise to split them up (nor ANY press kit from any subject for that matter - The value lies in the fact that it is complete - This one was).
I really cannot understand the need for an item to "be on ebay"........ I tried to sell this item on ebay some time ago - it was pulled by ebay due to the fact it was press material (go figure) - I sold the item on here, for the amount I wanted, to a guy who really appreciated it within 24hrs....... again: go figure...
Ebay has the rep of being the "go-to" for buying stuff...But please don't be suckered into believing that it is the "right" place to go - it isn't.....Speciality items need a speciality audience and platform to attract the right buyer - If you are concerned about "security" of purchases - again, ebay and paypal aren't as safe or as foolproof as they would like you to believe (and I say that from personal experience) - Use your gut instinct when making purchases....same as you would when buying anywhere......
And finally - presskits come in all shapes and sizes - this was (as far as I am aware) complete; I am not aware of any variations on the theme (though there may have been promo items) this particular kit was for the launch of the first series...At which point, not knowing how it would have been received, presskits would have been basic (bearing in mind they are for newspapers and reviewers only - Images and background info for hacks to use in copy are standard.....Toys and gifts would probably have turned up as promo's for subsequent series.....)
My thoughts... :-)
