Today, Bongo Comics released the latest issue. It's a sure cure for the FOX-took-my-show-away blues... or at least, a yummy sugar pill.

Don't forget your spoilers, folks.

I'd scan it for you, but I have no place to upload it. Also, I hate using my scanner. And I'm lazy.

The cover features Fry, Leela, Bender, Zoidberg, and Professor Farnsworth travelling through a tube past the Statue of Liberty.

Edit: Okay, I actually went ahead and scanned it. I sent a copy to Marc, and hopefully it'll be up on CGEF soon.

I like how the shipping for the webpage posted on CGEF for US orders costs three times as much as the comic itself... I wouldn't be surprized if it was cheaper to order from the UK.

Cover is up in big thanks to Kryten and the reviewing and rating is enabled now in CGEF.

McGrady: We dont get anything for these two shops specifically, just giving sources to those who seek it. It's always the same with ordering 3 dollar things. Shipping just is more. Solution: buy other stuff the same time.

I didn't mean that cgef was ripping us off somehow, I was just stating that US shipping rates are abnormally high on many sites.  $7 for shipping is rediculous ($7 means a large box with packing material inside).  It's price gouging.  Of course, your solution works fine.  Sorry if off topic.

How did the quality of comic #9 come out?  Was it better or worse than #8?

Sorry, didn't mean it like that. Just telling cause some (other) people like to think we give expensive links which we make money off instead of better ones.

On the comic: I hate walking to my comic shop just to hear they dont have it

Mine's on mail order from books'n'comics.

God bless them.  They accidentally sent me two copies of #1, when I first ordered from them.

Hey, I've been gone for a while! Just got #8 and #9 today. STILL no #4, darn it all. As for this one:
The premise is cool, but then again, I'm an absolute sucker for this kind of thing. If I weren't I would definitely like it less. It's still got some pretty interesting ideas (although I don't recall the Professor really minded his frail oldness, but I guess losing 130 years would be easy to get enthusiastic about) and is not extremely funny, but fairly consistently so. Better than #8 in any case.

I thought it was pretty good, though the animation seemed a little off.

I've only skimmed through it so far and it's already the funniest issue yet.

I thought the huge space between the two seasons of Futurama airings would be a nice safety zone in which to finish my fanfic, but surprise, surprise--one line of dialogue in this issue almost blew two plot-essential gags out of the water. Almost.

Me agrees with Payndz. When's the Futurama Nude Sunbathing Issue coming out?

It was solicited in the March 2002 Previews, which Books N'Comics UK uses for advance orders. They're up to May 2002 now, so March stuff should work, even if it's not on the regular site yet...but I'd ask first.

Well my issue finally arived today.  Raunchiest comic yet, it was a big sex joke.  I don't know if it is just my dirty mind, but did anyone else notice the last name of Lana Labianca, the girl "Farnsworth" Fry had sex with?  And I am pretty sure the "Hot Sauce" that the taco bellevue hospital chihuahua had the last part added at the last second (or as you call it, "blood")

I thought the drawing style was the most off of any of the comics so far.  Their heights changed at random and some of the facial expressions... ugh (I think some of the fan comics were more consistant and looked better than some of the cells in this issue).  Better than issue 3, 5, 6

ps don't order from anotheruniverse.com, slowest mail order place I have ever ordered from, it took about 4 weeks even with a huge $7.50 shipping fee to get to me, WITH SHIPPING IN THE SAME STATE!

When I fisrt saw the cover I thought:
"UGH! Not another cheesy "GO USA" post 9/11 comic cover!"
But the text on top "Made in the USA! (printed in Canada" was very funny, especially to me.
