I may not know art, but I know what I like.  I'd like to own this set.

Yeah, I saw these on deviantArt! Maybe this should go in the fan art section because I don't think they're for sale, but they are pretty great. My favorite is Zoidberg.

Too weird for me. I know I have seen people do more 3D lifelike drawings of the crew, but I don't know...it's a cartoon so any figures should be cartoony, at least to me.

I agree that realistic art is sometimes really weird and that these are a bit odd, but they are well-done in my opinion and one of the best examples of realistic Futurama fanart I have seen.

I hate how Zoidberg is designed. Look more like a Wookiee than a lobser-like creature to me or some really weird cat alien thing but I'm find with Farnsworth and Leela overall. Nibbler too kinda bugs me but at the same time he doesn't.

Nibbler looks like he's from Planet of the Apes, Zoidberg doesn't look like Ziodberg. Leela and Professor look good, as in well made and designed but too far removed from the Futuruama universe that I know and love to enjoy these figures.

They are very very good, but some of them don't really look like the Futurama cast.  They are beautifully made but not very good likenesses, especially Zoidy who looks more like some sort of alien terrier.

I suppose he didn't want to do the regular human characters, like Fry and Amy.  Surprised by the lack of Bender.

On dA I think he said he wasn't done yet. So they might be coming.

I would love to have those in my living room.

It would be fantastic.

Can't believe no one's pointed out Leela's eye is just way too small.

Nibbler looks too human, Zoidberg's face-fingers are all wrong, and the Professor's head should be more conical.  In short:
I don't like those at all.

I am not liking these. Their really creepy, like those characters in real-life videos.

I dig these quite a lot, I saw them before somewhere but seeing them again reminds me how awesome they are. Sure they're a bit creepy, but the creator has given them their own spin, this is art...

Not sure why Nibbler's third eye is not, like, an eye? The Professor looks very steampunk styled to me. I'm not so keen on Leela, creepy is alright, although not as a compromise to sexy, but still well made. Dr Zoidberg is interesting; the oddness is captured in a new way...

The Professor looks awesome. Not overly keen on Nibbler or Zoidberg though.

I was about to post my thoughts but see I posted exactly what I was going to type back in September. They're good but it's not Futurama to me. Futurama is a cartoon. It's like when I see those Firefly comics in the store. I am tempted to rifle through them out of curiosity...but it's not the show. What makes the show is the actors and those are just pencil drawings. What makes Futurama is the drawings and these are...too realistic. I prefer to keep my comic realm and real life realm separated.

Also, interesting it is posted by a "Moore"? That's not the same guy is it...

They're very good. Very, very good. They capture the feeling of the show well, and I are disappoint that they weren't filmed as episodes because they're awesome.

Does anyone else think that Nibbler looks a little bit like a monkey?

Hm. You may have wet my appetite on these. I think there are some at the discount bookstore near me, next time I am there I might have to thumb through one a little more vigorously.

I do own some Star Trek comics, but those REALLY depend on the artist. The early ones had the most godawful pencils and colors, felt like I was reading a comic off a bubblegum wrapper.

I know exactly what you mean about those comics not quite doing it for you because they're not the show even if they're an official continuation or what have you.

I read a fair few comics here and there but I always have to view them as some nice, little spin-off, even if they're a continuation of another storyline just because... well, you know. They're not that show or movie, like you say.

Plus I suppose I'm often holding out for a sequel or the show's resurrection and don't want to accept any other addition to their canon that might complicate that.
