So looks like Toys R Us is now carrying Futurama Toynami figures. I only saw the second edition Bender at this one but they might start selling more...

Bam! Just won a Glorious Golden Bender on ebay for US $122.50! Plus $30 postage to Aus. A steal! This now completes my mint, unopened collection of all figures and variants, exclusives and build-a-bots! Get in!! The sad news is i'll probably look at selling them all as a complete set in the not-to-distant future as I could do with the cashola...But i'm sooo delighted to have put together the whole collection over the years and manage to resist the temptation to de-package them!

We'll see - i agree the price is high, but its a unique opportunity to grab the figures in one go. I don't want to sell them for dirt cheap, so i'm sort of testign the waters a bit as well.
I calculated the initial price by working out as follows (in Aus dollars) based off current ebay listing prices, excluding delivery: $200 for GGB, $80 each for Zoidberg variants (x2), $80 for Santa combo, $80 for Alt Universe Fry and Leela, $80 each for original Zoidberg and Fry, then $30 each for the last 16. Grand total = $1160, rounded up a few bucks.
The exchange rate isn't working in my favour at the moment either as the Aus dollar is just about the only good currency in the world at the moment. If it doesn't sell, i'll drop the price a bit and see.
The good thing is at the end of this, you'll all have a good idea what your collection is worth!

So Beer Monster King's GBP600 works out to AUD935 vs the AUD1199 listing price, in case anyone else was wondering... I'm too lazy to do my own valuation, but by the sounds of it, the collection ought to be worth somewhere in the neighbourhood of a thousand dollars, maybe less, maybe more. But then there's still the problem of the killer shipping, which is hard to get around unless you can find a local buyer where you live. I'm sympathetic to karlheinzsmith's idea of trying to preserve the cachet of selling this as the "entire collection" (to date anyway). And I'm sure there is someone out there who'd jump at the chance to get all these. The trouble is it's a small market of people who are big fans of the show, don't have any of the figures and have the money to splash out on them all at once. I’d think if you’re intent on selling these as one lot, you need to really beat the bushes and put the word out in places where you can find such a person – like on any and every Futurama forum you can find. And maybe not just on the toy sections, as really you’re looking for a hardcore Futurama fan who hasn’t got into these toys yet – who knows maybe there are even some here in other sections of Peelified. At the same time, I see you’re in Perth, which isn’t a small town. Don’t know big Futurama is down there, but I’d try put the word out locally as your lot becomes much more attractive without that shipping cost. So I’d try put the word out on Australian forums, and you could also maybe talk to your local comic shop type places as they may be able to put you on to potential buyers. That’s my two cents anyway. Good luck and let us know how you make out in the end.

Good points everyone, and great advice Jaba. I'm kind of testing the waters at this stage - theres 8 'watchers' on the item, at least three of those are genuine (and not you lot! ) as they appeared on there pretty well straight after I listed the item and before i mentioned it on here. Shipping is pricey, thats the biggest worry for me. Theres no way i'd ship them anything but registered mail with tracking and signatures, but unfortunately this doesmake it a bit pricey. If I have to re-list, i'll have to try and absorb some of the shipping costs myself.

Well as a comparison I have all of the "standard" store release figures (no exclusives or variants) + the Tower Records Mac Toys 4-pack and that whole set just cost me $510 USD to assemble over the past couple of months. I started collecting them in July 2011 so the prices I paid are fairly up to date. The most expensive piece in my collection was the Zoidberg (which I got from Beer Monster King) ...And yes Obsolete is missing from the group. My first one had a shipping accident and the replacement is on it's way from Amazon now.
