I just posted a question on Toynami's Facebook page about whether Destructor will come with Gender Bender and the ring. So let's see what they say.

Now that Toynami has a Facebook page, maybe we should all get on their from time to time and pester them with questions, suggestions, compliments, etc.

Seem like a lot of people on their now about their Japanese toys, so it'd be good to show some support for the Futurama line and it might be a way of getting decent feedback too.

Looking at all the new goodies I have to barf in disgust at the plush Fry. For years I've wanted Fry in plush form with adorable bulging eyes and whatnot kinda like the Kid Robot figures at worst but they really fucked him over big time. Hypnotoad's eyes freak me out, Kif is alright but does seem to have a claw machine design to him, and Robot Devil is the best alongside Nibbler there.

I see Flexo finally gets a figure. I don't have a regular Bender so I might pick that up; I'm also interested in what I'll dub Robot Devil 2.0 there. I never got the BAF of him so I'll maybe pick him up if I ever find him on a shelf. To me he looks to be made of metal.

Zoidy, if you need a regular Bender, there's a Bender version 2 (different mouth and eyes) available for preorder now:

I have tried - and failed to post the full image of Destructor and GB but type futurama sdcc2011 into your browser on Google Images and you should be able to see it.

Also in one way i think Toynami may of had second thoughts (or thought it was a big gamble) about releasing Destructor hence the release of GB packed with him.

If you were not a big fan of Futurama and seen this HUGE robot on the shelf you would only know who he was without looking at the packaging.

I refuse to pre-order because of how Toynami has failed to release figures recently. I would definitely pick this up if I saw it in a comic store though! I still want Flexo regardless.

A talking bender is for talking!

Take him out of the box and play with him!

The regular line, fair enough keep them boxed but this is to have fun with.

Enjoy!

I just looked up some ebay auctions and learned my SDCC 2007 exclusive mating season Zoidberg figure is worth about 200 bucks. Now I'm trying to decide which I like more: mating season Zoidberg, or money? It's a tough decision...

Really? Daaaayum...

I'm thinking of selling it not just because I need money, but because having a rare figure seems out of place in my relatively small and modest collection. I feel like it would be more appreciated by a serious collector. I'm not sure if anyone would buy it for 500 though, and I'd feel guilty selling it for that much.

I'll pile onto the grumbling about waiting for new figures in the core lineup.  I looked on big badtoystore, but there are no new figures for preorder. That is disappointing.  It's great that they are making the plush toys and the tineez, but I personally have no interest in them.  Bring on the figures!

i'm patiently awaiting for these next 9 figures.

but it's getting boring with the long waits. toynami should just put 'in the near future.' not 'comming soon'. hopefully they'll be here by christmas.

Ok so my friend there found the booth. As I said in the plush thread, you can only pre-order the Robot Devil there for $35 up front. She said the angry Tineez Bender doesn't go on sale until tomorrow and he's $10.

You know what's even more depressing than the lack of pre-order dates is that none of the new figures are shown in their boxes (unlike say the tineez). This doesn't bode well for any of them coming out soon. Sigh.

On the bright side, in that pic above of the whole figure display (thanks robotsanta!), the new ones still look great. Lrr is huge - can't wait to have him and the other deluxe figures on my shelf beside the others. And the Robot Mafia isn't too shabby either...

I bet you're pleased to finally have Morbo, huh?  : D

I was pretty disappointed with this range.  All the robot mafia?  Who gives a crap about them?  I would have much rathered Lebarbara or a fembot take up at least one of their spots.

Lrr actually looks rather frightening.

im very happy about the upcoming figures. just tell me when and where to buy already! :D to me, what is always going to feel is missing is, Scruffy. Then Cubert & Dwight.
Im going to have to move next year just to find room to put everything on display! :p

lebarbara will probably never happen. along with fembots...they're not revelant enough to make into figures. maybe the crushanator. but i couldn't see toynami goin out on a whim and making a figure that doesn't appeal to that many.

and the robot mafia in figure form is genus. i bet they sell better than any of the other figures.

Toynami's Tineez SDCC Exclusive Bender is on EBAY right now for anyone who wants them.  I ordered a couple :)

Hopefully, this means others will start showing up soon! I'm running out of figures to buy! I need more to feed this crazy addiction!

The Robot mafia isn't that relevant, and yet here are all three of them!  LeBarbara is a considerably more prominent character then a lot of the ones they have already chosen.  I like the fembots, but I would say most of them have limited appeal, except for perhaps Crushy gal herself.

The Robot Mafia aren't in that many eps, but the ones they are in they’re in quite a lot. Generally they are the plot focus, or play a very important role within the given episode, so pretty major I'd say...

i concur.

sadly, there arent that many fembots that would make it to large scale sale. lebarbra is a revelant character but shes not that intresting. i could see them making moms three sons before that. not to rain on your parade or anything. but i'm pretty sure it'll be along time before there're any fembots released.

Not to get offtrack, but before Comic Con even started I saw the Simpsons exclusive Hallmark ornament listed at $150 when it retailwed for, I am guessing, no more than $19.95 (I work at a Hallmark).

The Tineez Bender was limited to one per person as well.

$30 is not that bad considering the amount of money you'd have to spend to get into Comic-con just to get your hands on one.  I'd gladly pay for a marked up exclusive than to have to pay the thousands it would cost me to to go to San Diego.  I'm addicted to anything Futurama related so, yeah.   :p
