With Destructor kind-of officially announced, I'm sure Lrrr and Morbo (among others) are on the way. ;)

To anyone that has the talking Bender figure, how is it? What sayings does he have, or how many? I don't really collect Futurama stuff that much (never bought one of the toys), but I ordered this on a whim.

Destructor looks awesome!!! But how tall will he be? Maybe the next series will include figures, which are taller than the former ones (Lrr, Morbo, Destructor).

Well it's nice to hear some kind of plan for getting Destructor, as we only had his photo at Toy Fair in February. Personally, I'll wait for retail on this one, as I wouldn't have much confidence ordering directly from Toynami.

But it's basically another IOU for figures to come months down the road. So sounds like this will be the second SDCC in a row with no actual figure exclusive on hand. *sigh* Wonder if that's it for Universe-B figures...

By the sounds of it, Destructor was meant to be at SDCC this year, but wasn't be ready in time. Me thinks Toynami has had production problems, which is why the long wait between figures (even by their very slooow standards).

Hopefully, we get some updated release dates when we see this year's SDCC display pics - not that these dates ever get hit on time, but at least gives an update on the dates that Toynami plans on not meeting.  :p

How tall are Destructor, Lrr and Morbo, etc?

Using the photos from Toy Fair in February, I estimated that Destructor is slightly more than twice the height of Bender, while Lrr is more than 50% bigger than Bender and Morbo less than 50% bigger.

For more details, have a read of this post in our old Toynami thread.

Destructor looks excellent, I just wish I had space for all this stuff. I'm still interested in copping Lrrr whenever he's released...

No you fool
why would a thread need to be pinned to the top when it is already there naturally, the only threads that need pinning to the top are those that everyone needs to read but nobody posts on

By the way, looks like in the latest photo (above), Toynami has fixed Destructor, which at Toy Fair had his torso back to front according to ScultBoy (see below).

I think he meant it's an important thread because it's a popular subject, but if by any chance no one posted in it for a while and it vanished off the first page, due to the fact that it is a popular subject someone else could potentially make a new thread without looking for it. As it's stickied there is no excuse for that to happen now. Of course it is unlikely that it would disappear off the front page due to its popular nature, but it has been known for people to bump almost an entire pages worth of threads in one go. In theory it could always be searched for, but some people simply don’t bother and just make new threads instead, so...

What's up guys!  This is my first post, I can't wait for more figures!  The only ones I don't have are Zoidberg and obviously Robot Devil.  Doubt I'll get them unless they re-issue.  I also don't have any comic con exclusives.  Would love to see Slurms, Scruffy, Hyperchicken, Elzar, Agnew's headless body, Malfunctioning Eddie, Sal, Hattie McDoogal and Hedonism Bot.

I've been a huge fan of this show from the beginning, my dog's name is Zoidberg and my wife made a grooms cake with fry and leela getting married by zoidberg at our wedding!

Yeah...a few weeks ago I got him off Amazon finally after three years for $125...definitely more than I wanted to spent, but better than the $300 I had been seeing for years. I needed to complete my Robot Devil!

I've accepted the grim reality that I'll never get the robot devil, as both my Fry and Bender figures are encore editions.  There's one Zoidberg on ebay now running for $81 atm, but it'll probably sell for quite a bit more by the end of the auction...

There is no grim reality, Harpoon. Keep scouring eBay and i know it might cost a bit but there are people out there who don't care about either the figures or the build a bot parts but just want the money for them.

probably a stupid question...but in reading the last page and seeing that destructor gonna be at SDCC, is there a difference in packaging?

cuz i too like jaba will wait if it's the same packaging.

also, welcome harpoon. i too was in your predicament, but patience is a virtue, you'll find one eventually. what's bad about your fry and bender being reissues is they didn't put the BAF parts in them.

i propose a question to fellow collectors like myself who already have the robot devil: if they packaged him as a figure alone would you buy it? i would.

Yes, I would too. When they did the encore figures perhaps they should have made Robot Devil and Santabot their own figures to buy.

Although i have all of the figures to date i would love to see a re-issue of the Robot Devil.

I'm sure i am not the only one who has not opened any of their collection so although i have the parts to build him i don't have the completed figure to display.

However if they did release him i would probably think about selling Zoidberg and Fry as the value of them would surely plummet. :hmpf:

i've only opened the robot santa/bender, as i put the robot santa on the top of the sh!tmas tree, zap cuz i like a robot nixon randomly placed, and one of my two blue zoidbergs.

other than that all of 'em are sealed. tho i'm not in it for the money they're worth. i just like the packaging.

one day i'ma buy all of them again just to have them opened infront of their respected boxed versions. but until then, i won't open them.

still gotta cop me one of those talkin benders..probably thursday.

man, i can't wait.

this years gonna be the best year for toynami.

not only are we getting a reissue of bender with different eyes. we're getting the robot mafia, lurr, morbo and destructor. which makes me wonder if they'll do a gender bender as the next in the line of bender variants. seven more figures to add to the recent three. (URL, obsolete bender, talking bender.) i feel like a kid when i open up the boxes in the mail, and they hold toys. :).

I asked toynami how big Destructor is on facebook and they said...

"‎@Jacob - He's just under 12 inches! Totally in scale with the rest of the line and his...................opponent..............."

So I think they may be making a gender bender to compliment Destructor.  It would be sweet if Destructors hand could fit around Gender Bender's torso (if they are making him)...

i'd buy him. hell if it's futurama related by toynami i'll buy it. the shelfs gonna have to be made to fit him in the box tho. so until i get him, i'ma keep all of them boxed up.
