Two things...
I think the board should be like the original, but with the bender logo from on page 2, or somewhere in this thread, just to make it feel like Monopoly... too many graphics make it look cheap and overdone... Futuropoly Classica...

I really like this idea for the board. You can probably expect the final board to look like this.

I think a Futurama Monopoly game would be cool!  Why should The Simpsons have to have all the mechindise?   Also, a Trivial Prusuit, or Life   game of Futurama, and a jigsaw puzzle, too! 

Futurama needs more recocnition!

i was thinking of making a Futurama Clue, where farnsworth is murdered, and you have to move through the PE HQ with weapons like a laser gun, doomsday device, microwave, etc. (i had a bigger list of weapons, but now i can't think of any...)

I'd love to finish this game. I still have all the artwork that I've completed. I was about 80% complete; the largest piece to be completed was the board.

So if anyone is willing to help, I'm willing to finish it. If you're interested in helping, check out the most recent list of items outstanding.

And like I said, "the largest piece to be completed was the board." That is to say, the board is not completed. I've only just started on the board. But I'm about 35% through it.

As I always say, this project will just get stuck again if no one helps me though. Anyone remember the story of the little red hen?

Futurama Monopoly sounds awesome; I always wanted Futurama Monopoly but it refused to exist. E-mail me when its done or randomely post "its done its done its done!" with links to downloads so that I might notice.

Yes, Futurama Monopoly=Great Idea. It wouldn't be that hard. Just ask how those people at cities how they make the <insert city name> Monopoly games. They're probally mass produced, but we could give a go at making a Futurama Monopoly game ourselves.

I'm a little confused about some of the deliveries/what-if macine cards. For instance: Diamond-Studded Asteroid Hits Ship! Collect $200 and advance to Go. Wouldn't you pay to have the ship repaired, being as diamond is the hardest substance out there? (currently) I can see the advancing, as you would be catapulted. The food poisoning at Elzars. Is the $15 because you sued for damages? Wouldn't you lose a turn because you're at home sick? That's my little rants. Other than that, it's looking absolutely fabulous. I volunteer to do the Luna Park description.

I visited this forum after taking so much time off and saw more interest in this game. I have, as the Professor would say, "Good news, everyone!". I spent some time today putting a package together for printing.

I'm going to give out the images which have spent so much time in my vaults. The game is essentially done with the exception of a board and some minutia that you probably won't notice.

I hope you all will appreciate the hard work that went into this game. When I started, I had hoped it would be a community effort, but soon realized that it would be far from it. Thanks to the few people that actually did help at my request. I do appreciate the enthusiasm on behalf of the community though, I just wish I had some more help.

So without further ado, the download URL:

You'll need some type of BitTorrent client to download this. Do a Google search if you don't know what I'm talking about.


A quick FAQ should finish things up here.

1. Where's the board?
A: There is no board. Be creative and make your own.

2. What do I do with all those PDF files?
A: Print them. The title cards have backs that need to be printed on them. You'll have to figure out how to get your printer to do that.

3. I want to edit the cards/money/game pieces/title cards. Can I get your files?
A: Yes, email me at  jared@mellentine.com .

4. Where did you get all these pictures?
A: To be honest I don't remember, but I didn't make most of them. I build the cards and PDFs from scratch, but any character images were found on various fan sites.

For money you can put character on each side and how much is the money in the middle of the money

$1-Nibbler
$5-Fry
$10-bender
$20-Zoidberg
$50-Leela or/and amy
$100-Hermes
$500-professor farnsworth

I did in order as next is richer, and this is the order I think it is.

If you choose amy and leela together, on each side you can do them...like...you know...have them close to each other as like their friends. I could have got rid of the nibbler but I really think it's a good idea for a $1 note

I would put Amy as richest and Zoidberg as poorest other than Nibbler.
