Does anyone know if they are planning on making a Zoidberg Encore figure.  I actually convinced my fiancé that we need to have Zoidberg some where in our wedding because I proposed to her at Red Lobster (Her favorite crappy restaurant).  I was actually just trying to mess with her but she likes the idea.  She says we need him on our table, now I need to convince her that I need to buy all the figures. :)

Given the way the release the figures, and the fact no encore has been announced; I'd recommend eBay. Especially if your wedding has a date already.

Technically, Zoidberg was already reissued at least once along with Fry. If another encore set happens it most likely will be Zoidberg and Leela, but don't hold your breath.

The wedding wont be till October in 2011.  We are having a Halloween wedding, it's her second time getting married so we want to have fun with it, and are going to try to decorate on the cheap by buying decorations the day after Halloween this year lol.  I just don't want to spend 100 bucks on the Zoidberg and have one of her Nieces or Nephews break him. I'm afraid if a child broke one of my Futurama figures I'd break the child lol

I definitely wouldn't shell out for the original Zoidberg Toynami figure and then leave him on your wedding table for who knows what to happen to it. My advice is spend 10 bucks to buy the Zoidberg bobblehead figure. And if between now and your wedding, Toynami does come out with a rerelease on the Zoidberg you can always pick it up. Though the bobblehead ought to serve your purposes for the wedding regardless, no?

It's funny you say that because I was just looking at this set of bobbleheads.

I still plan to buy an original Zoidberg, but for my own Man/Child collection :)

On the original Zoidberg note:

Does anybody know where to get an original.. eBay hasn't been much help as I check it daily to no avail.

I hope they don't rerelease Zoidberg. I have two already and I hope they stay at like, 150.00 or whatever they are going for now.

I honestly don't see how releasing an encore version would make an original runs price drop. If anything it would make the price go up. Just look at Action Comics #1 and all the reprints that have come out over the years, and the price on an original just keeps going up. If I remember right a copy of it just sold for $1,000,000.

I was lucky enough to get a Series 1 Zoidberg and Universe 1 Zoidberg in the same listing for $150.
