Hi Zmithy

Thanks for the kind words. I was stoked to be asked to do the calendar as I am a big comic book collector so getting a chance to pay homage to so many great covers and artists was a real dream come true.

Amazing that a publisher does not have a site, but you appear to be correct sir.

I would point out that it wasn't me who started this thread or posted pictures of the calender, I  just thought I'd clear up a discrepency between Willsterdude3000 and Futurama_Freak1 as to who did the drawings.

Sorry, I thought matt groening did all the drawings. Mind you, I think Matt groening would get very tired making 2 cartoons, some comics, audio commentaries, interviews and drawings for merchandise.

Can we agree that he has an eleven year old mentality?

The calenders are now on sale.
I just scored mine at the mall calender shop.
A lot of the birthdays are fellow cartoonists like Will Eisner and Mort Drucker. At least Matt respects the history and icons of the comic art.

Could be worse, they could have hired Mike Kazaleh to do the Australian calenders.

Since bongo really like stiffing us.

The center piece is based on the Justice League New Frontier DVD case. I really enjoyed drawing this one which Bill Morrison inked beautifully and the coloring by Seban Cristescu is amazing. He really nailed the look big time.

I now have that Futurama calendar. I must say, great artwork and great gags, the only thing I don't like about it is that it fell down the other week, so maybe next year, Danilo, the company who produced this calendar, could make sure the hole is strong enough.
