As I said over in the other topic:

The comics aren't cancelled. Look at that tweet. He says they have the year planned out, and have not don't know beyond that. Think they have all the other comics planned that far out? Probably not. It all depends on the sales, and Comedy Central doesn't control what Bongo does with the franchise. This isn't Disney cleaning house with Star Wars.

We don't even have the August solicits yet. Unless you have a source that I haven't seen yet for August.

Looking at 2012, we saw issues in February, March, May, August, October, and November.

In 2013 we've had issues in January, March, May...

You gotta chill, dude. The way you're dealing in absolutes is going to spread rumors about the comic being absolutely canned, when all we have is a tweet about them being planned for the next 8 months at the moment and the August solicits aren't out.

Yeah, typically Futurama Comics is solicited every odd numbered month and occasionally the release gets pushed back to the first week of the following month for various unspecified reasons. It's solicitation has probably been pushed back is all. Tune in in late May to find out.

Is it just me, or has the comic frequency increased in the past couple of years? I thought I remember getting new ones years ago like once every 3 or four months, because I would keep going back to the same comic store every 6 weeks with no luck of a new one...I can't go back there anyway (ex used to take me there), so I just get them online. Used to find them at Toys r Us but then they even stopped carrying them. Before them it was Borders.

Well, they've still released 6 a year in the US, but recently they haven't been bi-montly. So there are instances where you'll get issues two months in a row. The reason for this is, I think, the recent emergence of new series (Bart Simpson, Super Spectacular, One Shot Wonders) as well as annuals (Summer Shindig, THOH, Winter Wingding) and non-Simpsons stuff (Spongebob, mylo xyloto, Sergio Aragonés Funnies). So if a month has too many releases, something like Futurama will be moved to the next month.

Seriously, if Sergio Aragonés Funnies is a bi-montly thing, I can't see why Futurama wouldn't continue.

I do, it's the one I've been most anticipating. It's only out in the UK on the 1st August, so if any of you Americans/Australians happen to pick it up on the 29th let me know how it is please. :D

I will do Danny. It should be out June 19th where I live (3 weeks late), oddly the same day as the new episodes begin.

Funny how we used to be enemies.. and now you are my favorite person on here... well, top four anyway.

I'll most likely be getting it on the 30th due to timezones, international shipping and generally being in Australia.

Futurama Comics 68 - Patric M. Verrone gets all experimental with the format again, with help from Mike Kazaleh.

I wish they'd do more Trade Paperbacks with the comics in, I don't have space for loose comics but the books are really cool.

The one with Zoidberg on it.

Bad sales did not justify more trades.

I e-mailed Bongo or someone about that a year or two ago, they said they hope to release more soon but who knows if that will ever happen...

With the show cancelled I find it unlikely. Part of the reason I want the show to find a new home is because of the merchandise, that and the fact that the show is awesome.

I really liked it! One of my favorites, even though I didn't read all of them yet! :p

Good.

Reasonably sure the name Tartar House Five is a reference to something. A little too much Doctor Who this issue, or rather too many of him.

A new kind of time travel is used in which the traveller ends up in the body of their past/future self.

There's a top-half two-page splash-page that would make for a nice poster or desktop wall paper.

Just picked up and read #67 - one of the best Bongo comics in a while! I loved the concept and the art. Sort of a Time Keeps On Slippin' starring Zoidberg. What I really liked was returning to Space Pilot 3000 and the sweet ending. Really, this could have been an episode of the tv series.

One of the things I liked was that they didn't revisit "Space Pilot 3000". That was "The Series Has Landed".

I thought the new issue #67 "Tartar House Five" was one of the best issue of the comics i've ever read.
Right to the point.. I give it a 10/10.
It was better than the newest episodes "2-D" and "Fling" by a mile!

Exactly. Mom and Nixon, all the Zapp clones... it all just felt so right. Zoidberg eating Fry's leg, was also insanely funny. As well as his photo, and plan. And the nod that he never checks his pockets!

Fortunately, the person who wrote this comic was the same person who wrote the Whole Lotta Leela, Kickin it' Old School, and the Time Bender Trilogy comics, which were some very good comics.

Starting to think Futurama should have brought him in, instead of Eric Rogers.

I never see Futurama comics in shops here in Scotland. Got one years ago but only because it was in a special double pack with a Simpsons issue. It was an ok issue, Doctor What, or something like that.

I saw one in the window of a comic book shop in Edinburgh when I went there towards the end of 2011.
