My KR Leela has a more blue-violet shade to it... Only Toynami has red-violet verging on pink so far as I know.

On the page one photo, page 2 figures displayed photo and other pics online it appeared more dark pink. Purple would be perfect. But that's good to know it is more violet for some figures.

I got mine maybe a year or so ago, so it's entirely possible that they altered the color of her hair. But seeing it in real life next to Toynami's Leela I can certainly testify it's not that same, off-colored shade. Of course, every alternative Leela I've seen/own has hair more purple than the original Toynami Leela so... it kinda means little. Ehh but, here's a comparison. Granted, a  LOT of the problem is lighting. Lighting is a tricky dick and loves to make things appear one shade when it's really another.

Thanks Professor Zoidy, that Kidrobot Leela's hair color looks good and indeed appears to have the better color shade when compared to other pics. Yeah the lightning definitely keeps playing tricks on the eyes until we actually have the item in hand.

Quite welcome! KR Leels is pretty easy to get blind, and super easy to find on eBay. I think you'll be pleased with her if you decide to get one. You can even decapitate her and switch her head with the other KR figures. I can testify she looks pretty lousy on Fry's body, and positively ridiculous on Lrr's. :laff:

Ha..I am now imagining the show trying such switcheroo with character body parts in future episodes. *shudders*. Due to color confirmation, I can indeed take the plunge to buy these figures now.

I just ordered Wooden Bender, to anyone who already got it - does his compartment door open? Just wondering, thanks!

Hypnotoad is still awesome. He's sitting next to my bed :D

Oh, wow. Quite a bit of cash for that thing...
whoever won that is gonna feel REALLY stupid when they see the normal price for it......

So I looked into it. The guy who won it did pay for it, but apparently the account was regged since 2002 and nothing was bought since 2011. This tells me it's not an actual collector but perhaps an e-bay account checking up on its sellers on the site. I've had that before. It's just ridiculous it got so high...like there was more than one person bidding that high on it, especially when it's on ThinkGeek right now for $39.99...

Some folks have money to burn, and aren't intelligent enough or not willing enough to price check items... I can't say those folks don't deserve what they get for their laziness or ignorance.

Yeah but, if you look at the history, there was a bidding war between 4 of them past the standard price it was online at the time. One even had 1908 feedback and bid up to 153.00. Am I missing something? It's not like it was signed or anything...

I had a buyer buy from me who hadn't bought anything since 2003. That...was quite scary - I didn't know what to expect

But anyways, yeah. Ridiculous. I could possibly see it getting that high if it were signed and the demand were there...

Also, I like Kidrobot Leela's hair. It's a very pleasing shade of purple hehe.

Someone listed a complete set of the Kidrobot line and the starting price isn't that much more than the going rate for Robot Devil himself. With Slurms going for $50 and the other 10 for 10-30 even the BIN price isn't bad. But anyways thought I would link it for someone who never braved the blind box phenomenon.

Zoidberg is actually worth a little more than the others. Slurms is the second most valuable figure after robot devil so all in all sounds like you got a good haul... :)

Here is what all the 6' Kidrobot figures look like next to one another. I put a blind-box Nibbler for size comparison

I was wondering what that Nibbler would look like, I have the wooden bender and hypnotoad though so I pictured it from the smaller blind box guy. For what it's worth, I recently acquired a Moore Nibbler for $50 (same price right now for Kidrobot Nibbler) and I like him more (haha). He's slightly bigger and has more...personality.

Thanks for the pic, smalfri2! :)

I want to get that too lol a little at a time. But I do really like the packaging Kidrobot has for all three figures.

Yeah, the packaging is nice. I keep going back and forth on the Nibbler but l'm not sure even the packaging can justify me spending 55 dollars on him right now lol. I just already have so many Nibblies with the plushies and figures and what not...I'll think about it.

EEEEK!  Looks like Kidrobot may have taken my advice on a Hedonism bot!!!!  http://popvinyls.com/?p=1541

Btw, want to believe this is true but I highly doubt they are re-releasing any past figures.  They would lose a ton of collectors on that move.

I'd prefer to sell them on here to avoid ebay fees and things.

I've decided I'm going to keep both fry's and make an alternative universe set.

I need both bender's as i'm going to make an alternative universe set.

You can have Zapp & Nibbler though.

I'd also be interested in a trade for a Zoidberg (so I can paint it blue), Robot Devil or a Slurms McKenzie going my way?

I saw someone list a golden variant Bender on there once...it looked pretty good, I never bid on it tho as it got up to 30 bucks and I thought the guy would list another one...he didn't :hmpf:

I'll do them both for £20 + P+P. Paypal will be fine, don't want to use ebay due to selling fees but I'll post up my profile so you can see.

Nibbler went for £15 this afternoon, not sure on the price off Zapp but £20 seems fair to me.
